The friggin Germaphobe achievement is keeping away from 30/30 achievements. I tried this morning And the farthest I got was 1937. I got up and threw my iPod so hard on the bed, it bounce back high and I caught it. I was ticked.
You should have received the "Anger Management" achievement for that! Keep trying, you'll get it soon enough, took me a while to get that one as well.
There's some weird shit happening with the game save syncing, at first I thought only purchased jetpacks and coin total were saved as I have tried purchasing a vehicle magnet and then syncing but it didn't sync accross. However on the ipad I have purchased 4 magnets but on the iphone I have purchased no magnets, now after syncing back from iphone to ipad all my magnets have dissapeared from the ipad version! . Would the dev please enlighten us as to the full extent of the save syncing?
Sadly that is the case I think. I unlocked 6 achievements whilst offline and now it seems impossible to get them to sync to GC. Anyone got any ideas? Also speaking of achievements, are there secret achivements in the game? GC tells me there are 30, but there are only 28 slots. If true, what are they? I've tried google but can't find anything useful... Edit: just counted in game, and I have all but germophobe!
All of my runs/achievements have been done offline and they synced up fine when I was finally able to connect. Running an old ipod touch 2g if that matters.
Ahh!!! Finally got all 30 achievements!! Damn, that was long & tough! My last achievement was Angry Wings, i get 2 Profit birds in 2 consecutive games, don't worry guys, someday, it will happen for you too
congrats! Angry wings was the last one I had to get to. I was so happy when it finally happened that i kept that second bird hardly any time at all lol.
We fixed this in the update It will always push your unlocked achievements to GC and OF now, so if you unlocked stuff while offline, it will push the unlock when you reconnect. Update should be landing in a few days, fingers crossed!
Got the 'Angry Wings' achievement - made up! Thought I'd got 'Germaphobe' as well, but apparently not - made it to 1,800 before dying, bounced over a scientist without touching it, and used a Second Chance. And, predictably, died at 1,950-ish. So I hit Final Blast straight away, but I can only assume I managed to touch something verboten in those 50 meters. Flip and blast!
The closest I got to the Germaphobe one was 1991 meters a few days ago (I was getting closer and closer, but then I went to bed - now I can't even get closer to it without hitting something - the other times I just died by zappers). Maybe I can get back in the Germa-Zone again...
Stick near the ceiling. Don't go for it unless getting to 2k is very easy for you in general, and only when you've got the 1750M without coins mission.
