Seriously, I've thought about this too. I'm not really sure what Muscat's criteria is for sending people items, but it seems like a reward for putting lots of effort into the game. If it is for getting #1, I feel like those going for best distance have a much more diminished chance (although total distance seems impossible too ). For all we know, 15k is a cleverly chosen hacked score. Surely doing so well that the game's default meter counter has to increase to accommodate your score (4 digits to 5 digits) is as tough as finding the time to get a high overall distance. Personally, I think zeexto deserves something for his proven 10k plus score. Or do you think that over time there will be lots of legitimate scores over 10k, making it unworthy of an item? To me, it seems insanely difficult to get 10k.
Wow I had 22,000 coins saving for the revive pack, closed the app, got on an hour later and I only have 2,000. Is this being fixed in the update?
Sry, no answer here. But same deal with mine. Maybe another gen2 touch glitch. Still cant play this game, as results disappear (well G anyway)
Has anyone been able to figure out the differences between jetpacks, as far as handling that is? I remember a post a ways back that said there were tiny differences but i haven't been able to really notice too much.
Number 3! Absolutely nothing. ...basically since I started playing the game since it's release. I wasn't aiming for badges at first though... Actually I'm very worried about that. I wouldn't mind more missions, but if they increase the levels required per badge to more than 15, I quit. It's gonna take me around 40 days at a reasonably sustainable pace to get all the medals as it is... I like the traditional, but always use the rainbow jetpack, no exception. It's just so much less trouble to not have to switch it out when the high-five missions come up. There's absolutely none, been confirmed by the developer.
This is the post I was thinking of where it was said that some of the jetpacks differ slightly. Was just wondering if we've figured out any of the other ones that have slightly different physics
Muscat has later jumped in and said that was a mistake and the jetpacks don't actually differ in any way. My guess is they were planning to add that feature, but pulled it last minute which caused a bit of confusion. Edit: There it is.
I've got just under 9k currently (and a lot of people have beaten my score by now), so it's not too much of a stretch. I got pretty unlucky with the Final Spin in that round, too. I don't actually play that much (I think I've got two badges right now), so I'd probably have a better score if I put more time in. Certainly not a contender for total distance. If they're going with super exclusive then I'd say no to 10k and yes to top 25 or 10. But honestly, I think the achievements in the game should give you rewards too, ranging from small coin bonuses to, I don't know, a biohazard suit for Germophobe? In that case there could be an achievement OVER 9000 that gives you Super Saiyan hair (for passing 9000m).
Yeah i've pretty much given up on getting the #1 spot. I have a good bit of free time deployed... but not quite that much I'll be happy with a third place
Fun fact: the first 3 zappers of any game are always the same. You get one on the top, one on the bottom and one in the middle in that order.
Alright, I've got a few general comments on the game, especially missions: You get a certain value for each level you earn, increasing by 200 every time. Level 13 gives you 2,600 coins, level 14 gives 2,800 coins, but level 15 gives 2,800 as well. When you get the Hardcore Hog, no matter what you were wearing before, Barry will always have a Classy Suit on. I assume this was a design choice for the cool wind effect on it. Near the end of level 14 / start of level 15 I always end up with 2 or even 3 vehicle missions, if I'm unlucky. They're not hard, but due to the random nature of vehicle selection it takes forever and gets quite annoying. I like how vehicles are random, but imo those missions should be spread around just a little. The best moments are while you have something else to work towards (like 100 near misses, for example) The missions I mean are: (2) Travel 1,200m total in the Teleporter (2) Run 400m in Lil Stomper in a single run and occasionally (1) Change gravity 50 times in a single run to make 3. There was something else, but I forgot... Will add it later once I remember. ^.^;
