i read through the last 10+ pages and didn't see the question asked, so hopefully that's 'sufficient' research...i'm not sure how to get the good work, woody achievement. what's the bottom obstacle? i've tried running into the bottom zapper several times, but maybe that's not it? EDIT: ...nevermind. i just finished my third playthrough, just under 10h logged. i love this game!
See the scientists with yellow gloves? That's Leslie. Leslie are my favorite. The other scientists bully Leslie. The other scientists meet the boot of my Stomper. ^.^
Picked this up at dinner-time entirely on the strength of this thread - and I seem to have lost over two hours of my life! Seriously, I'm not sure I've ever had such a strong attack of one-more-go-ness on an iPhone game. The couldn't-be-simpler controls, the mission structure, the Rick Dangerous-esque graphical style - the game oozes polish and precision. It's very possible I'll get a bit bored of it by the end of the day, as was my worry, but that'll only be because I'll have played the bejeesus out of it before I hit the hay. And I'll have more than got my 69p worth in terms of sheer, unadulterated, fun. Level 12 so far, and a best of 5,022 M - although that was a one off! The 'Germophobe' achievement sound tough, mind. Right, off for another go (have barely touched today's The King of Fighters-i update as a result of this game). Thanks to everyone in this thread for swaying me toward buying it!
Noticed something odd - may be just me, of course... I like to play with the iPhone held so the volume buttons are at the top. At first I thought Jetpack Joyride didn't support screen orientation - the only thing I'd ask to have added, TBH - but if I press home, then relaunch the game from the app bar the screen swaps round. I assume, therefore, it's supposed to respond to how you hold the 'phone but isn't - at least on startup. Since I know the devs frequent this thread thought I'd mention it... (iPhone 3GS, 4.3.5)
Jetpack Joyride coins disappear Can't see reply to above. Coins disappear after exiting game. What am I missing ???
The stupid notification keeps popping up in the news section to see the intro and I can't get rid of it Also, what are the mission packs in the store you purchase?
