My tips won't help I play oddly, I stay in the middle, I crash almost right after I get a vehcile, unless it's the profit bird or teleporter, I use 750 meter head start every game. With vehicles I stay at the top or bottom. I sucked also but I kept playing, and got a decent highs core, and an amazing distance travelled overall!
Can anyone give me any pointers on the "Good Work, Woody" achievement? It states you need to run into the bottom obstacle 3 times in a row. I got fried by the bottom half of an electrical bolt setup three times in a row whilst simply ground running and it didn't pop. What am I doing wrong? May I mention that "Bullseye" is killer?! Nothing worse than shooting over by 1 paltry metre! Another great game by Halfbrick. Especially after the massive letdown that was SPYmouse I proudly own all of Halfbrick's apps and each one screams quality.
To get the achievement just leave your device running the game when you start and don't touch anything, don't even use the jetpack. Do this 3 times and you should get it.
If you're getting 201M you're doing it right. Remember that the zapper distance is slightly random, so even if you do the same thing twice you'll get different distances. It's based on how long the coin pattern at the beginning is.
What do you mean I can't high five someone out of a 10-foot tall golden robot!? The beauty of vehicles in this game is that no two are alike, each one is vastly different from the next. Adding more runs the risk of making them too similar to an existing one and messing with the uniqueness. In saying that, I have a suggestion for two that are quite different: A rocket-powered hot air balloon (or powered by whatever jetpack you're using at the times) that constantly rises at the same pace Barry normally falls. When you tap, the engine is cut off and you fall. This one is probably too hard to implement, but I like the idea nonetheless: A "portal gun". With it you can't jump, but when you tap a portal is created on the ground and on the ceiling, launching Barry through it to fall to the ground. The obstacles for this vehicle would be insane to design though...
Another unique vehicle could be something that swings with a grapple (i dont want to say "like the hook games", but it would be). Also, it could be themed on a spider, if that fit it It'd probably jump and grapple at the same time with one touch while on the ground, then release the grapple when you let go, send it out again when you touch, etc. Edit: And Muscat, when/if you read this, I didn't get the second message that you sent me. I don't need it any more, as I now own everything and have a surplus of money, but I just thought I'd let you know. (Didn't want to pm you 'cause it seemed unnecessary).
@Muscat or someone at Halfbrick Please make a update so the earned Achievements sync with Game Center.I don't have WiFi where I live atm,and my offline earned achievements didn't synced.Thanks.
While we're talking vehicles, reiterating my desire for a humongous ride that takes up the entire space vertically (i.e., can't dodge) and has to destroy the obstacles to avoid getting hit. Maybe it'd shoot at them (slingshot is a natural choice)... or even cut them up like Fruit Ninja? Also, a vehicle with a preset path, but with a shield you can activate. With the right timing, you're invincible right when you pass through the obstacles.
I like your Fruit Ninja idea ktern. Perhaps have it so that the player has to make swipes to clear obstacles from the screen whilst Barry is propelled forwards at a really quick speed so as not to be too easy to gain mega distances? EDIT: In homage to the Ghostbusters, I'd love to see a proton jetpack too! EDIT: EDIT: Okay... Bullseye is driving me absolutely crazy! Keep pulling 199 or 201s!!!
I'd like to put forward an idea for a costume, one I just thought of: A straight jacket! (Accompanied by a hockey mask) A straight jacket and top hat is all I'd ever wear!
@halfbrick Why is it that when running on the floor/ceiling in the gravity suit, the distance does not count towards missions that require you to run on foot for a certain distance?
I totally think it should, as well as having the ability to high five in the gravity suit. It'd quite possibly make up for being widely regarded as the worst vehicle. Don't change what you're doing if you hit 201M, just keep doing the same thing. The zapper positions change a bit each run, so you'll nail it if you don't adjust.
i actually had more trouble with bullseye too than germaphobe. If you're hitting 199 or 201 believe me you'll get there soon enough.
