Morning all! Oh, nice find! Will look into that, thanks! Hahaha. We had actually considered this. At the time we couldn't afford the extra collision checks. The game will progressively get more optimised as we go, so hopefully it will be back on the cards at some point Phil was wrong on this one. The jetpacks all handle pretty much the same. We experimented a lot with different physics on the jetpacks, and basically the result was that we had the Machine Gun Jetpack, and a bunch that didnt feel quite as good as the original. I love the idea of special abilities on each jetpack however, in order to create a utility distinction, and this would hopefully be far better than the different physics idea we tried! Hey thanks! Would you guys be interested in a high quality download of the music track? We also have about 6 other 'prototype' tracks from when we were trying to nail down the music style! The update is all but locked away, but I'm not sure when we will be announcing its contents. Will get back to you!

man i love this game. i had about 1 dollar earlier today and was debating on whether or not to either buy this game or buy a Mchicken from McDonalds for they both cost 99 cents. Im glad i made the decision to buy this game. so far ive played about an hour and a half and i wouldve probably finished the mchicken in probably 5 minutes. I also really think that this would be an awesome game for multiple updates as everyone pretty much have said already such as new vehicles, jetpack abilities, game modes, and more! Well time to get back to playing.

Man, this is all I have been playing since last week! Got most achievements (I think I have 26). Would love more missions and more things to buy in the stash - but even if they never add more, I will wear this game out! Best endless runner game I have ever played!
I am a Lead Designer / Executive Producer. Basically I designed Fruit Ninja, Monster Dash and Jetpack Joyride, and I run the team that made them. Pretty much all the art and code credit for this game goes to Adam Wood (code) and Sierra Asher (art). For most of the project it was just us 3, knocking it out. We also had help from some other programmers (Steve Last [programmer of Fruit Ninja], Grant Peters and Peter McNeill, Music (Cedar Jones) and the QA guys (Jason Maundrell and Brent Hobson) as well!
