Im completely used to the Call of Duty prestige thing, so i did prestige here also... me and my friends hanged out yesterday, and we all ended up taking rounds for playing this awesome game. They told me that this was the best game since Tiny Wings, and both share objectives, something cool to do. Best endless game ever.... Halfbrick: Wouldnt be cool that you could take down those missiles with your jetpack and having them crash into cientists wreaking havoc?
yea.. at the moment bullets from the jetpack don't do anything substantial or helpful... other than killing/scattering scientists
I also played cod bo on my ps3 and it wasnt that repetitive because there you loose everything while in jetpack joyride only the rank while the amount of money and all the upgrades remain the same.
That was me moaning about syncing of game saves. I have since learned that there is SOME syncing, the game syncs your acumulated money and purchased upgrades ( not sure about single use items but it does sync jetpacks ) but doesn't sync rank/missions. I think it does it through openfeint although not sure. When you log in on another device a popup informs you that there is a newer save from another device and offers you the chance to download it or overwrite it.
I think the coin bug in combination with crashes messes up the "coin collected" count too. The last 2 digits don't match up with the number of coins in my stash, and it seems to change after a crash.
That sounds great! And if that works, it sounds like syncing rank and missions wouldn't be too hard to add in an update as well I would think. I would already be happy if my magnets worked and if the coins I get can be used on the iPad. But it doesn't work for me I use Game Center, am logged in on both devices, can open the leaderboard and see my iPad high score, but do not get the message you say. I even deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled, but that didn't help either (I did say "keep" to the "do you want to remove the game from gamecenter" question, because I don't want to lose my highscore). Would I have to use Open Feint?
i feel like the jetpacks should have special abilities, like faster movement, slower but more precise movement, more likely to get vehicles, and the rainbow jetpack could have a coin magnet....like it?
Eh, I like being able to use whatever jetpack I like without having to worry about whether or not it sucks. And not having to gear swap every other mission is nice too.
Somewhere earlier in the topic the developer confirms a few jetpacks having different stats. For example, the steam jetpack is heavier and therefore rises slower and falls faster. The differences can't be too drastic as the game needs to be playable with all of them but if you're attacking the high scores you'll no doubt start to notice the little nuances.
Definitely nothing new, but I don't even like endless runners and this game is completely worth the 99ยข! The music is awesome, too!
Well I love this game but can't help but feel ripped off that the shark jet pack does launch out live sharks. I was hoping they would be able to eat the scientists or something like pocket god lol. I don't need ANOTHER machine gun pack! Booooo!
