Not to be rude, but this is a ridiculous statement. When has a consumer ever had the final say in what goes into a game? And what's the problem with people suggesting things that Halfbrick might think are worth putting into the game as additional content, something you would "consider a bonus"? This thread exists for talking about the game, be it suggestions for improvements or content, getting help, or just interacting with other people that like/love the game. Please stop trying to derail it with your suggestions that we shouldn't use the thread for what it was created for. EDIT: lulz, TheDukester beat me to it
My bad if this has been asked already, but 58 pages is a lot. Could someone clarify how final blast and quick revives work when bought in bulk? Can you use multiple revives or final blasts in a single run? I'm guessing the blast is only used once before moving on to slots, but revives seem like they could be used more than once during a run; I hope not.
You can use one Final Blast AND One Revive in a single game (You can also get them from a final spin too)
True enough. Got it, but that did take awhile. In my opinion, 2nd hardest achiev was getting 5k points. 3rd hardest was germophobe (getting 2k with no coins, tokens, scientists).
I've heard something about HB restoring lost coin totals, if I'm not mistaken. Any idea if they can restore lost mileage (due to iTunes being retarded when synching)? I've got a screencap of my best play, everything else is a lot easier to get back on my own.
Hi everyone! I'm back from a weekend of much needed rest. I have a bunch of PMs for people that I'm going to be getting to, mostly with regards to the whole Openfeint clobbering your coins thing. This is an easy fix, and I can indeed restore any lost coins for you (will be getting to that in a few hours). This is only a problem on devices without multitasking, and we have a bug fix to permanently solve this on the way. We are all really really excited at how well the game is going! The entire company was out at a celebratory dinner, and halfway through dinner the game flicked up to the #1 spot in Australia, which was just incredible. Anyway, I need to get to a meeting but I will be back to start the process of digging through this thread to catch up! It is truly insane, the Fruit Ninja thread NEVER moved as fast as this one. So incredibly awesome
Favorite Jetpack? I'm looking to make my first new jetpack purchase. Anyone have a favorite they think I should get first?
I love how you guys have celebrations. you should know anything you make is gonna shoot up the charts. hahaha
1. Are the differences between jetpacks just aesthetic? 2. How do I get the "get to 1750 without touching any coins" thing? I'm having a lot of trouble
1. Mostly, but they seem to handle a little bit differently. 2. Just pretend coins are obstacles also. You'll probably want to avoid vehicles, especially if they're magnetized. If you want all the achievements, stick near the ceiling to get Germaphobe at the same time.
You can also un-equip coin magnets in The Stash. We added that just for these missions In other news, our programmer just found the coins disappearing bug, so we are well on track to get this fix out ASAP
Three things (okay, technically more) on my wishlist: 1. When you get a vehicle and the image and name pop up, it'd be cool if that was gold if you bought the gold version of that vehicle. I feel like I'm playing alternate colors in a fighting game, but people with the blinged-out rides should be the real VIPs 2. Equippable items that let you high-five scientists and graze zappers and missiles, even when you're not on a mission that requires you to do so. Along with statistics for "most high fives in one run, most grazed zappers/missiles", of course. 3. A vehicle that takes up the entire space vertically, and you have to blow up obstacles in your path to avoid crashing into them.
Good to hear!!! Still been playing in longer stretches when I can to earn enough coins to get what I want. But it will be nice to be able to play in short spurts (like on the can ) without fear of losing coins.
There's been some weird things happening associated with vehicles. A big white block appeared on the screen after picking one up, and as I flew by the underwater tunnel, there was a thick white squiggly line moving in the water background. Also, some vehicles I picked up were invisible (gravity and bird.)
