There's so much going on in this game in terms of obstacles, unlockables, options, missions, vehicles, bonuses and achievements, that it's almost weird when you consciously note that all of it is being accomplished via a simple one-touch control scheme. It all somehow manages to feel far more complex than it is (in a good way).
Pretty much. But this game also has luck factored in. The spin tokens (different from regular coins) you collect in game can give you a second chance Or just give you a blast which will push you quite a few 100 meters. So its not 100% based on skills. There is some luck involved. About this second chance, you can buy these chances via coins too (collected in game or via IAP) but you are limited to using it only once per game (so you cant just shell out for coins, buy these second lives and keep on increasing your score). Trying to explain it is making it sound way more complicated than it is btw. Its pretty simple and straight forward in game.
As far as I can tell, this is pretty much a cave game (meaning press to go up, let go to drop down, avoid obstacles, not referring to the company!! . I'll probably buy it at 99 cents, especially if it's universal as seems to be implied, but as with other running games, I'll probably forget about it in a week. Still, for 99 cents I expect to get my money's worth, so why not?
I know that's massive! Im so excited that im going to sleep so time goes quicker "Asleep time is about 4x as quick to you" then I can wake up and play it in less time. If you guys understand that?
I've never been this excited for a game since Aralon Sword and Shadow! 30 minutes left till it's released on my end. Edit: Apparently my app store follows a different time zone so disregard that last sentence.
OMG having so much fun with this game. (for those of you that don't want to wait make a NZ Itunes Account.) anyways this game is really fun i'll post a video and impressions later on today.
