You love it! As for the game, it doesn't get repetitive. Versus something like Canabalt or other endless runners where you just... run... there are always "events" happening to break up the flow. e.g. rockets, lasers, vehicles, oh my!
In addition, the temporary vehicles change the nature of the run for a time, and the missions always give you an alternate goal to work towards.
Oh yes, and achievements which also serve as "missions". By this I mean they require you to do something in-game, other than "run 2,000m" The only downside (sorta) is that there's nothing I really want in the coin store. Sure, there are plenty of things to work towards and I'll get them all, but nothing immediately jumped out as "I must get this".
I still play Fruit Ninja multiplayer every now and then but this will my first Barry Steakfries game ever
So the IAP's don't affect the leaderboards, correct? Thus, in theory, anyone buying this game tonight should have the same statistical chance of posting top scores as similarly skilled players who've owned the game longer. Sounds good to me.
Finally. after a weak AoZ (which I deleted very fast) it seems they go back to what they can do best!!! Come on clock! Tick fast for the European stores!
Fruit Ninja is still my "go to" game when I have time to kill. It never fails to reel me in for 15 or 20 minutes. I doubt Jetpack is going to change that, but I'll definitely be picking it up becuase it looks like a great game...
To anyone who owns this already can you confirm it is real full screen universal on ipad not just pretend? ie retina rez with a border?

Yeah, I take that back. I dismissed the jetpacks as being reskins (like the clothing), but boy was I wrong. They are awesome!
I have my share of endless runners already, but this one does look pretty damn good. Might be my one pick up of tonight's releases.
