I have this problem too, but with the achievement that says fly 2km. I think it had something to do with not being connected to gamecenter when we got the achievement and the game not forwarding the achievement to gamecenter when it re-connects
Thanks for pointing this out, guys. We do have a manager that SHOULD be doing this, but doesn't sound like its working properly. We will be able to fix this in an update, and it should push all your achievements to GC without needing to unlock them again.
Yeah, its not perfect. Its also possible that the random points all happened to be situated in quiet spots, so even though there were bits with more action, these may have occurred between the possible screenshot locations! We learnt a lot from our earlier games. We designed this whole game to be ULTRA update-able. So yeah, expect new and awesome stuff Yup! We are also looking to extend this system further sometime in the future, so that you don't get the same missions on consecutive playthroughs, so it will be different every time Also, you'll notice that even though the rank resets, the level number doesn't. Just look cool. We are looking into the idea of doing some more utility upgrades for the vehicles sometime in the future. May take a while though, we have so much we want to do to update this game!
I know you can buy the IAP for the "counterfeit machine" and the magnets for the vehicles, but I assume there's no general magnet for when you're using the jetpacks? Also, a few possible bugs (one of which I brought up and never got a response to): 1. I played the game numerous times and know I had well over 4,000 coins. I may have had to stop playing by hitting the home button. But in any case, the next time I played I only had 800 coins. Is this happening to anyone else? 2. It looks like you can equip more than one vehicle magnet at a time (I've been using the Hog and Stomper magnets), but when I quit the game and come back later only the Hog magnet is equipped so I have to go into the Stash and re-equip it. Is this a bug or does it just equip one magnet by default? Both show as equipped after I do this but it's a minor inconvenience to have to go in each time and equip it every time.
Missing coins I'm having problems with my coin stash, it keeps resetting to 0 or some other low number. Please help, I would really like to buy a coin pack. I don't want to lose what I buy. Anyway, this is one GREAT GAME! Thanks!
0. no 1. that sucks something like that happened to me, but i also lost all my bought items. i sent a pm to Muscat and i'm awaiting reply (i know he's busy) 2. you're supposed to be able to have all of them equipped at the same time... so yes, something's wrong.
I have to ask, is the Profit Bird a reference to a certain other game featuring birds that are Angry and either a jab or reference to how much money it's taken in on the App Store?
Yes... except it's a parody of two games featuring flightless birds, some of them angry and some of them with undersized wings.
It would be cool if the golden vehicles served as a "double coins" item, turnin all coins into those bronze ones while you're ridin that vehicle.
I had the same issue, and found the best way to avoid it is to return back to the main screen before quitting the game entirely; this should save your choices (the game is supposed to remember your outfit/jetpack/upgrade options). I think this is more noticeable on second-generation devices because they don't have multitasking, so hitting the home button just shuts the game down entirely, and the game doesn't always save everything before that happens. Another issue is that if you hit the home button after finishing a game, you'll not lose any of the items (head start, blast, etc.) you may have used during that run; you can technically have unlimited items in this way, and it also allows you to circumvent the "buy and use" missions, because you never need to buy anything to pass them, which will save you up to 4k. Yep; there's even an achievement titled "Angry Wings", referencing both Angry Birds and Tiny Wings.
10k (the cost of a gold vehicle upgrade) is far too cheap for what is otherwise a $1 IAP item (double coins). Edit: Even 50k, the cost of upgrading all vehicles, isn't high enough considering that outside of the slot machine, vehicles (with magnets) should be the fastest method of coin collection.
Yeah, it seems like a few people are having troubles with their coin counts on the older devices. We are looking into it right now, but in the mean time if you go into Openfeint, sign out and sign back in again, it should stop this happening. PM me your OF names and I will reset your coins back to their old values as well
Keep in mind that the double coins effect is only present while riding that vehicle, so most people would only receive that effect for like 500 yards every 5 rounds (or more frequently if they buy the upgrade for more vehicles).
Yes, but specifically I think it's a reference to both Angry Birds and Tiny Wings, there's even an achievement somewhere called "Angry Wings".
