Bought this, normally dislike 'endless runner' games with a passion but i do love the look and feel of this one. Wish the levels were shorter though, getting a 'bit' bored playing it and getting to about the same point over and over. The in app purchases seem funny, not really worth it but i suppose some people like that sort of thing. Well worth the money but i wish the levels were a bit shorter
I don't know, I actually found the drain on my iPhone to be remarkably low. It went down about as much as it normally would throughout the day...
I really didn't think this would live up to the hype but it's soooooooo good! I'm going to be spending quite a bit of time on this baby! They could have easily charged more but a measly dollar for a universal app of this quality...Nice! It's been hyped up for quite some time now and you guys delivered the goods...and it's damn fun!
well, it's definitely better that dash or aoz, fun game mechanics. few points of criticism. the loading times on iphone are quite high, dunno if it could be optimized but still for endless runner it should be better. the point with the head start, it's such a pity that this is an item and you have to pay for it, it could be just instead an achievement. if you reach for example 3000 you can choose to start in hard mode, because the game is very easy first 1000, at least for experienced players. the similar stuff like in minigore, with different difficulty settings. got one crash and after reloading the game all progress and upgrades were there, however money reseted to some previous state. and the main point is one of the iaps, second chance. basically income in the game is quite low, so to buy one is very expensive, however this is an item which boost the scores. so basically if you want to aim for the top of leaderboards, you have better chances if you have always some quick revives in the stock, so you gonna need a lot of grinding or buy iaps.
Come to think of it, this game has indeed been devouring my iPad 2's battery. Will do some mini benchmarks and post them here in some time.
To what are you referring? It is an "endless runner": it doesn't actually have levels, and the sections that make up the game are filled with random assortments of obstacles and items. There's not actually anything they could make "shorter". What loading times? I've been playing this on a second generation iPod Touch and, outside of the initial startup time, there aren't any. Nope, money sinks are always useful, and there are many missions that make starting at the beginning relevant. Considering that you complain about not being able to make enough money, you probably shouldn't be asking for a permanent function that skips you past hundreds of coins. This isn't an issue; currency accumulation is about as far from "low" as you can get, and bonus items are supposed to be bonus items. If you believe you need them to compete on leaderboards, then you'll have to fork out for them. Whether you want the cosmetic items and buy those first, or ignore them and go straight to the leaderboards, at some point you'll be left with nothing to spend money on but consumables. They don't need to be lowered in price or earned via achievements, especially when the game hasn't even been out for 24 hours yet.
Wrong! Im doing excellent on the leaderboards without a single iap. If you dont like the game dont play it
Thanks. One more thing, have an idea on how to get the "1000m without using the jetpack"? I think I would have to use the 750 boost, then a 4000 coin bomb for the rest, since you can't fly at all.
i freaking love this game.. just downloaded and now my iPhone batt life is dead and i don't mind. i need a breather!
This is beyond amazing, seriously, just mind blowingly good. Any chance of an update to add iCade controls?
Okay cheers, wasnt sure if it was as 'true' endless runner or not. I remember the classic arcade game Metrocross which was a 'bit' of a runner type of game but had large levels so you could start off at different points.
