Being from the makers of smite, I had hoped there would of been an 'unlock and play as much as you want" option, but alas. I like the game, it's a nice changeup from what I am used to. Haven't had any connection issues. I'm also glad there's no auto-loot options and they make you actually play the game.
Similar complaint: really enjoy the game, but the connection requirement is a drag. Maybe have a leaderboard opt out, and let a local algorithm deal loot offline? It's such a cool game and a solid mega-man like for touch controls... But man...lame server model Like, even if the server message was off center and I could see the character once the level is ending, that would be better.
I too am having issues with server connection. I get a connecting to server pop up before and after every mission or just about anytime I change screens. It's very slow, 5 to 10 seconds each time, and it just Whittles away at my enthusiasm for playing. It has also locked up the game a few times causing me to have to close the app and start over. I like the game but this is killing it for me. I have a solid Internet connection and I'm using an iPhone 6+, so I don't think it's a problem on my end. I hope they can fix this because it's a pretty solid game otherwise. By the way I have figured out that you can use very short swipes to the same effect as long swipes. It's much faster so you can get in more hits. Also, for slow moving and stationary targets you can quickly swipe your finger back and forth on them for an awesome barrage of attacks that will take them down very quickly.
A really good game destroyed by the constant internet connection requirement and "waiting for server" message is the most annoying thing ever. Shame...
The waiting for server message is super annoying indeed, I was playing this game for about 10 minutes and I've seen that message 15-20 times.
wtf is wrong with devs and my country ? (INDONESIA) , are they racist or something ? been over like this again and again for some games that i want to try but not available in my country. wtf
So far I'm really digging it! I love Smite and can't wait to unlock the Leona Nemesis skin. Do I need to have my Hi-Rez account connected to the game to receive the code for the skin unlock? I'm having issues connecting my account through the app atm and would hate to miss out on the skin
Ya this game serverly needs a new heart speed up. I love the gameplay but only being able to do literally 18 missions over the course of 24 hours is crazy slow. That's only at most like 30-40 minutes of gameplay each day. Maybe add another 10 minutes to go through menus and craft some stuff.
They took the game offline this morning to work on the servers. Since then, I have seen big improvements. It is definitely playable now. Give it a shot. I like this game a lot.

Pleasantly surprised how great this game is. It is almost like a mash-up of Mega Man and Sonic, done right for mobile.
Even though i was impressed at 1st, for a game that wants to emphasize quick gameplay and fast pace scrolling it fails hard. Not being to play as many hours and at any time as u want kinda beats the purpose of this genre, not to mention the fact that it needs online play which is rediculous. They should allow people to play offline but not being able to access the leaderboards or achv as a trade off instead if they are so scared of hackers. Either way its a fail just when u get hooked u end up hitting a timer wall which is kinda sad as it had that potential of being a game you can pick up and waste hours on without realizing like sonic dash while waiting in line/train. Deleted and moving on.
Thought this looked cool but read all the connection issue posts. Now that they seem to be fixed I gave it a try and it really is a blast. Now just to see how far I can get without hitting a paywall. This would have been an awesome premium game. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for now.
Missing BLUE item I got a BLUE armor (like 25 min) from Endless run. Now it's not visible in equipment or in crafting menu. My chars are not Lvl 25. Can it be hidden until then? That's a rediculous idea btw
