Ah I was wondering when this was releasing! Huge fan of the dev studio and loved smite. They create great quality games & smites f2p system is extremely fair so let's hope that translates to mobile nicely as well. Will leave impressions a bit later!
Quick question, anyone know if this can be played offline? It seems like it would be an online-only game. Edit: Decided to download it. Took a while to install and it looks like it's online only. Seems to need a strong reception as I was getting multiple "weak signal" messages throughout the game.

The game is live now in English-speaking territories worldwide. We intend to work on localization for Europe in the next few weeks and release that ASAP. Not compatible with iPad 4... that's really sad since game looks awesome and I like HiRez PC titles...
Excellent gameplay, fantastic art style, cool graphics, good character variety, and interesting gimmick. This could have been great. Instead, the game is rendered unplayable due to the need for constant internet connection checks. Open a chest? Waiting for server. Go to the menu? Waiting for server. Pick a level? Waiting for server. Start the level? Waiting for server. Loading screen. Play for 30 seconds. Waiting for server. Go to reward screen? Waiting for server. Get rewards. Waiting for server. Nobody wants or needs always online connectivity. It doesn't enhance your game in any way. It doesn't keep anything safe or in check. It doesn't stop any inconsequential leaderboards from being exploited. It just completely stops people like me from playing or enjoying your game.
Ok got game to play but is constantly hampered by connectivity issues with their servers. I have 3-4 bars AT&T LTE. This is making this game wretched to try to play. So it wasn't a GC issue. Not sure what is going on here. Have never ever had a connectivity issue with my LTE. Maybe their servers are failing. Seems to require internet connection 100% of the time which is a complete fail. Not gonna constantly chew data up for this game. Granted I've never taken issue with games requiring a connection but this is truly absurd. Hope it's a fixable server problem or I'll have to abandon and delete.
It's a complete fail configuration as it stands. Beyond ridiculous to code a game this way. Finger is resting on delete. Edit And couldn't agree more about my ability to enjoy a cool game being straight ruined.
We live in an impatient world and whilst this has huge potential, first impressions count. Server issues are going to seriously hamper this games chances in short term. I played it but have regrettably deleted it for now. Plus what's the point in adding Game Center if there are no achievements or leaderboards?

I haven't ever made it to even a menu. Billy
Im having same issues..ipad air 2 running ios 9.2 EDIT : Managed to pass through loading screen after many restart but again lost connection and that too twice at the end of level 2..You have to start all over again if connected. I HATE THIS ALWAYS ONLINE REQUIREMENT..seeing level 1, this game has huge potential..its one of a kind but ruined by online requirement
ah damnit, why does it need connection? It seems really cool, and would be my go-to-arcade game for waiting/taking breaks or such along with Downwell... but for online only, i have much bigger games to play at home. IMO quick games lose customers by needing constant connection.
Finally got a better internet connection at home but I am still "waiting for servers" constantly. I love the game and am gonna hang in there for a bit but not sure how much of this I can handle. Otherwise, great game! Fun to play and cool graphics. Love the loot system.
Fun game, but the constant "waiting for server" message has me spending my time elsewhere. I tried to open a special chest and the "waiting for server" message has been flashing for 2 minutes.
Yeah a few server issues, but I think this game is great. The graphics and responsiveness are awesome, but more importantly it's unique!
I really enjoy the game but the refresh timer for hearts is just insanely slow. I thought about getting the fighter pack after initial playing my initial pool of hearts because I had a lot of fun. I went to bed thinking in the morning I could get lots of gameplay out of the game again, but it when I woke up I only had 35ish~ hearts out of 100? 8 hearts per missing means I can play a missiong every 1 hour and 20 minutes at the current rate of 10 minutes per heart. The refresh rate needs to be tweaked. I expected it to be like many of the other freemium games I played in the past where after 6-8 rest that my energy bar would be completely filled or close to it
