In all honesty, the controls get better the more you play. Certain things though are just crappy mechanics with a bad camera. Close quarters are a nightmare and will always be hard to navigate. I'm stuck trying to get Combo. trying to exit a half pipe through a narrow gate is awesome
when you get to the narrow gate just stay in the middle of the half pipe and jump towards it. It's pretty easy.
I finally beat the second stage of Kogane-cho with Garam. After coming so close to beating the stage, I finally figured out the best strategy in spray painting the most difficult graffiti first. That way everything is just a breeze spray. Worked wonders. I can't for the life of me beat the first stage of Benten though. There's a part where I have no idea how to reach and it's one of one of the buildings that aren't a part of the one you start on top of.
Yeah, that's good advice for any level you're having trouble with: take out the large and x-large tags first. The enemies almost always get worse as the level progresses. (And it only progresses when you spray red tags, so doing the optional green tags to boost your score doesn't increase the enemy count.) Also, using characters with high health and high technique can help too: the health means they'll survive to the end of the level, and the technique means you can steer them a little better. On the ground floor kind of in the middle, there's a stairway leading up, with kind of a grey concrete facade near the opening. There's a tag at the top of those stairs, and there's also a gap in the wall leading to a long grind (the one you see in the intro to the stage). I forget if the tag you want is the one at the top of the stairs, or if there's another one after you jump off the long grind. Good luck!
Are you talking about that level with the highway, and that crane thing with the big gap in the middle? The one where there is a half pipe type area with green arrows on top?
That's in Shibuya. I was talking about the level that's set at night, in a place with a bunch of alleys & large tags on rooftops.
Sorry if already asked, but how big is this installed? I bought it over the holiday but didn't have room to install. I'm trying to get an idea of how many things I'll have to get rid of in order to make room for it. Thanks
Satanic lies! Seriously, the controls ****ing blow. I'm trying to love this game, but it just wants to kick me in the nads and then step on my neck while I'm down. Sure, you can get the hang of certain, simple things in the tutorial area, but the collision matched with the insanity of the virtual joystick (which flings you in a random direction midair, regardless of which direction you push) is pure black evil from the pits of hell. So disappointing because the game has so much goodness going on otherwise. As an aside, how do you select different characters for missions? I keep trying to select one of the other two, but it just starts the mission every time I tap one of the other characters. The game's a frustrating mess of a turd.
Umm... I feel kinda stupid for asking, but how do you save? Is it done automatically once you reach a certain point, or is there a save option I'm not seeing?
I love this game. I picked it up for mobile after playing the game on Steam. For the price and portability it's great. It looks fantastic, and the core gameplay is as strong as ever.
Is this game really that bad? I remember that it got slammed on release, but it has a good rating on the App Store. It looks fun. Worth a purchase?
yeah... i asked sega's support why the game is removed from the appstore and they replied that they "have no information regarding your issue". it's been gone for at least a couple of weeks now. and i'm really really keen on playing this, god damnit.
