Luke can do all the levels to the game... I can do all of them barring two. The last levels are called "Impossible", boy they are right f*ckers I don't think anyone will beat the game in a day The thing about this game is when you first start off you need to learn the tracks and how to get the best out of the car with the controls. So once you get to the higher levels and go back to the easy levels you will find out that things have become extremely easy from when you first played. This means the game has high re-playability because in the end you want to become the top scorer in the leaderboards. I think people will try to get to the end as quick as possible, not caring about the scores, then revisit to get the top scores, then maybe specialize in a few tracks to be the top scorer.
The first preview is out. Enjoy http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Jet+Car+Stunts+%28iPhone%29/news.asp?c=16559
Congrats on this preview. I feel even more excited now. Come on apple! And I don't actually think I'd be able to beat the game the first day, I just anticipate playing this game on my iPod for a really long time that day (an subsequent ones too i'm sure). I actually have another question. What is the filesize?
Hurry up Apple! Just release the game... (There should a fast-track review system for such a game =) Tic Tac Tic Tac... (I'm going crazy waiting for this game! )
Congrats. Previews are totally positive (Not that we doubted here -I can safely say we don't- but that's great news for Jet Car Stunts' conquest of the world =).
I think this would be cool too, but not sure how they would do it. I have an idea for the devs though that some sort of stunt arena (kind of like the skateparks in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games, or a freestyle motocross arena, just a closed place with lots of jumps) could be a cool addition in the future. Maybe they could make it so that after a user beat all of the levels, they could unlock this. It probably would be really hard to make, but it would be pretty sweet.
That would be a really cool addition, but does that mean this one doesn't have free run? Would have been cool if it would.
Based on the videos the Devs have supplied you can play the levels over again, I don't think they're all timed or anything, if that's what you mean.
I cannot wait for this game to come out . But u know one bad thing is that weve all been waiting for so long and u knw what happens if u wait this long , ur expectations keep building up .. And then even though the game would be awesome u might think it was not worth the wait .. Because that i what happened to me with eliminate pro ... However im sure the same thing wont happen again ... Atleast i hope not ....
There are two game modes, Time Trial and Platforming. In Timetrial, you have a Time Limit, but in Platforming you can take as much time as you like. You can also take as many retrys as you like, but if you finish the track with more then 10 trys, its a fail. When considering what we might do for sequals or add-on packs, I've actually already put a bit of thought into how to make a free style game mode work. I think it could be fun. Instead of a track, it would be a stunt arena, and you would have a time limit to get the highest score possible, similar to many skateboarding games. It would need a different car with special trick handling, objects you can clip to flip the car, and grind rails. Sounds like a lot of fun to make.
I can so see the stunt mode. That'd be so awesome....i already have an idea for the car...but its basically a ferrari with modifications xD
Stunt mode would be awesome! Kinda like in Trackmania, though I couldn't care less about like trying to break scores, though an online leaderboard would be neat. I'd have fun just trying to do spins and flips and stuff
Totally agree with you bud, Welcome to the club xD (There is no club, thats just me catch phrase. lol)
Jet Car skateboarding stunts? Luke: Pretty pretty please make that lol That would be mind blowingly awesome! Imagine the amount of achievements for that mode and the amount of replay value to get all those achievements. Lol
I think it's funny that just a few posts before I posted pretty much the same idea. Great minds think alike!
