So Trueaxis, after DLC, you plan to make a JCS 2? Will it have multiplayer(not that we need it in a JCS game)...what are your plans?
I'm not saying we are the best... I'm saying we care about what we do and we are learning and make mistakes but at least we fix them and learn from them. Anyway, no hard feelings
Yes, JCS 2 will be started after DLC. Once DLC is out of the way, then we will start to discuss what will be in JCS 2, not before though
Dude quit tryin to start fights with people. You do this all the time. It's a game you enjoy, it's very cheap, the devs actually talk to people and listen to feedback. I don't understand why you keep getting so angry
I lost all of my data just now when I started the game... Edit: luckily, I had the save files backed up on my PC.
Because the devs had the nerve to accuse people of cheating (saying that using the level restart is cheating), when there's never been any way of knowing how any individual plays a given game; it's one the worst mistakes a dev can make, in my opinion.
They already said they misused the word and what sounds alright in speech doesn't sound the same in text. They went over that too. You're getting mad about nothing
If you're right, then when the new levels appear and many top players (including you) have "0 retries" (or 1, 2 -whatever) next to their name on the list, the devs won't start rehashing old concerns about less skilled players having their feelings hurt, since anyone who cared to would be able to master the tracks with enough practice and then reinstall the app anyway, if bragging rights were based at all on retry count (they're not).
Its just a game guys, don't be too serious Its ment to be fun We might start making JCS2 quite soon. Multi-player is a posibility, although, I am a little skeptical about how many people really care about that... Its a lot of effort, which could be spent doing something else to make the game better for more people. Anyway, the big news is: Jet Car Stunts Lite is on the Appstore now! It as all new levels!
Wow. Today, I was looking at Jet Car Stunts, deciding whether or not it'd be a purchase when I get myself a gift card in a couple of weeks. Poof - half an hour later, I see a Lite. You'll be my first purchase and 5 stars. It's astounding. Flabbergasting. I ran out of words.
Tried the lite for only two minutes, on tutorial. And now.. I am downloading the full version EDIT: @luketrueaxis, are the new levels only in the lite version? Because I'm about to delete it...
Its too early to go into so many details. We will very carefully decide what we features we think are important enough to add. Right now we just have a big list of competing features. Only a few of which we know we definatly want to do. Yes, at a later date we might add them to the full version, but for now, its only on the lite. Thanks. I should have bought it a long time ago I'll hold on to both then. I'll be playing the full version first..
One thing to watch out for is there is a progress loss bug in the full version we are waiting for an update to be approved to fix. Just be careful not to quit the game as soon as you start before the menu comes up. We submitted the update a day before the lite version, but the lite version was approved first.
What do you mean? When launching the app then tap the home button to leave the game? I have two levels done... I'm not far anyways
Its not too bad if it happens, because, generally its fun to play again anyway, and easy to finish a level you are used to and you wont loose any OpenFeint hi-scores. Some games are more fun the second time. But, yes, don't tap the home button to leave the game before the menu appears right at the start. (Sorry to scare you just after you bought the game, hopefully the update will be available very soon anyway) Thanks for the tip. I've done that now.
JCS Lite? Awesome! Now it will be easier to convince all of my friends that they need to buy this game, so that I may crush them in challenges. Muwahahaha
