Ah so that's you....you do know that you have to have the high score during the contest period to qualify...right?

Edit: just looked down the leaderboards to #8...forget what I said :)

Wouldn't have bought the full version if I had tried the lite version first.

    It sucks, way overrated.

whoa. I'll have to get the lite version too :D

@Don_k I've spent more playing JCS than any other game on my iPhone. May be its not the type of game for you. Now I hate RPGs, no matter how good it is, I'll never spend my time playing one. But that doesnt mean I go out and say RPGs suck. They are just not my type.

Wow, the lite courses are different?? Any chance those get integrated into the paid version?

I don't understand how anyone could think JCS "sucks." I mean, I'm not very good at the game, but damn...it's an exhilarating experience every time I play.

We will think about doing that later, but we really want to encourage everybody to get the free version when it comes out so it makes a big impact on the charts. It was also a nice way to get some new content out while we are still finishing off the DLC.

Anybody late to the party, check out these posts:

Well, I'll download it...I may have another app that can be made expendable for a few runthroughs of some more JCS tracks. :D

After seeing RaptorF22's replay (the first I've watched for this track - 0:58.18 vs. my 0:59:18 was just too compelling - good work) for hard track c, and concluding that my best shot for this contest had already been given (excepting some big jump, perhaps), I had the additional set-back of seeing all tracks suddenly locked again upon restarting the app.

The local replays are probably still there, but it's annoying to have this happen again. At least the contest is long enough to make up for that, since by this point it doesn't take much time to get through the 4/5 tracks on each difficulty.

It's starting to look scary up there on hard track C. Will we see the 0:57's broken before the contest end? Are a few of the other pros holding back? Just as with a few of the riskier big jumps and shortcuts in JCS, the suspense is intense yet manageable.

I've just uploaded the new version with the fix to the saved progress... Expect a new version within 2 days, depending on the Apple review process.

I'm sorry you have to unlock everything again but hopefully your JCS skills will make it easy to unlock again :)

Yeah it happened to me as well...abt hitting 0:57...I think I can do it...I just need to skip a platform on the final stretch.

It's no big deal. The real concern was all the local replays, or having new times made during the unlocking somehow get uploaded and overwrite previous times, which has happened in the past with other games when OpenFeint was fairly new

Anyway, I just unlocked the easy levels during lunch and made some more attempts at Easy A, nudging past RaptorF22, but still trailing about 5-6 seconds behind Meh21 in #1 (scary time -I'm afraid to watch that replay).

I got 5th on hard c by 3 one hundreths of a second haha. I woulda got 4th but I ended terrible. Couldve shaved off half a second

@grubjelly meh uses this insane cheat. I saw it posted a few days after the ghost replays came out and it's the same cut that you use except they go wayyy further

See that's the thing, it's hard to know when a shortcut seems "insane" the point of it being a cheat. There are many tracks where, if given a choice, I still go through the rings out of habit. If I were to go back and do easy A with the the biggest possible shortcut(s), would that time and replay count for the contest?

Why not? Is there a rule that says we can't do an insane "cheat"?
