ok so for day 2 i won for intermediate B. But i just placed really high right now on hard c. If that was the fastest for the day i still wouldnt be entered?
Game Impressions Just bought it this morning. Really fun but I must say I'm sucking bad. Maybe it is the sensitivity for the controls. Do most people actually adjust them or do you generally stick with the default?
I set them to the max level. When the first version of JCS was released, there was no calibration option, but I finally got used to those controls. It seemed impossible to make the kind of mid-air adjustments that I saw in videos, however, and that was somewhat frustrating. The first app update brought a sensitivity slider, but I never once moved it from the default. The following update seemed to make steering very wobbly, as if the default sensitivity and/or physics had changed. In spite of that, I set the sensitivity to max. My playing worsened at first, but gradually began to improve on a consistent basis. I just posted two gameplay vids of Platforming Hard C. The first one is a single ~1:01 gold medal run which was preceded by both a 1:04 gold and a 1-retry silver in the second, longer video. Both show how to send challenges as well. I think the sensitivity slider was in the first release. However, one release did have a change that may have effected sensitivity on some hardware. The sensitivity affects the response time. Putting it high may give an advantage to some players, but I like to play on the default setting. Lower values should make for smoother handling, but higher values may give more responsive handling, but either way, you have to turn the same distance to turn the same amount.
Where where talking about some suprise new content a little while back. This is how it will be coming... All new content is coming in the form of Jet Car Stunts Lite. - 5 all new platforming levels - 3 all new time trial levels - All free We should be submitting quite soon. The new content will be exclusive to the lite version because we want to encourage as many people to get it as possible to make a spash on the charts. So, sorry to anybody who really really hates having to have more then one version of the same app on there phone, but we need all the help we can get!
@luketrueaxis Congrats on the lite. Can you at least offer the new content as DLC ($0.99 cent or more) for the paid version? I really dont want 2 separate apps (i'm sure other people feel this way too). -__-
i feel like many people who buy it wouldnt realize that its the same stuff in the lite and then get mad and leave negative reviews

Yeah, and even if they add a pop up saying "WARNING: this content is the same as in the lite version, this DLC is only for people who what only one version of jet car stunts" people would still complain cause they would be like "OMG DLC MOAR LEVALS" "GET OUTTA MY WAY STUPID POPUP" *pays X dollars* "OMGWTF THE LITE IS TEH SAME AS TEH DLC, I HATE U TRU ACKSIS U GUYZ R SCAMARS!!!" *leaves one star review with bad grammer/tons of emoji*
the lite idea is alright, but as long as you bring those levels to the paid game eventually. even if its a month from now edit: LOL @ "GET OUTTA MY WAY STUPID POPUP"
We will give a 50% discount on the free version I think you where crazy... although, I think Andy(TrueAxis) might have once let slip the idea of a lite version months back, but that was before we had any firm plans. As somebody else mentioned, that would confuse a lot of people. We might include it in the full game at a later date, but for launch we want to do everything we can to get it noticed in the free charts, so if everybody who loves the game already gets it, it would be really appreciated. Yep, as I said above, we might do it this way. And a double post of the lite version preview vid for anybody who missed it on the last page. Is this something new? Big red arrows above the finish line, or have I completely missed this in the full version?
They're in the full version to help you know where you're supposed to go. They aren't always above the finish but are common when the course takes a sharp turn so you know not to keep going straight and flying off
