my progress is gone too 3GS

 

Once again, no problems here (iPhone 3GS - OS 3.1.2). Installed the latest update by syncing with iTunes.

 

i get me new phone today . finally i can play this again, and i kinda hope i have to re-unlock all the levels

 

I lost all my save data too! I was three levels away from getting all gold medals. What happened!?!?!?!?!? I'm on an iTouch 1g btw, and love the game.

 

Now #12 on Impossible C

 

Sounds like there is a new issue added in 1.3 with save data sometimes not working... We previously had some problems with that but I thought they where pretty much fixed. I've heard a lot more complaints with this build though... We might have to think about doing an update that downloads your progress from OpenFeint.

 

It seems the lose of save data has happened to other games as well:

For the people who lost this save data, did you update from the device or iTunes?

When you update from iTunes all saved data should be backed up by iTunes before an update. Not sure what happens if you update on the device.

If you have a backup of your device in iTunes, then try and restore the device from the backup... This should reinstall your saved data from the game.

For those thinking of updating, do a backup from iTunes, do the update, if you lose the saved data then restore with the backup.

I'm not sure if this problem is ours or Apples.

Are you guys planning on making a second JCS or adding new levels? Right now, what I want the most is more platforming levels.

i downloaded the new version now..but i'm afraid to synch with the ipod

 

#1 on Platforming Impossible B, and came within a fraction of a second of nudging Bruce Plenty out of #1 on Impossible D. Now it's time to try to get into the top 250 on Imp C.

 

I'm looking into this save data problem... but none of the save code seems to have changed for this update. I've never seen this save data loss problem happen personally. Unfortunatly its a bit of mystery now because, we do error checking on the save files and back them up and everything. Its a bit hard to see what could go wrong.

 

Just got #6 on Impossible C. I though I beat #1 at 49.6 but turns out they are at 46.6 :/

 

so i got my phone reloaded with me games and i have 11 challenges haha. ive beat 3 so far

 

First on easy E!! Wow. I actually have a world record. Hehe. Already had some top 10s but this is pretty bizarre. To know I actually am the best of the world in something. Weird.

Even if it won't be there for long (watch it and see the mistakes, even has a side wheely. Hehe ) it's something to think about and remember.

One last thing. This game is the best value on the store. So many hours of fun. Great production and really well balanced controls.

i was just reading around on the openfeint forums and a guy came up with an idea i think would be sick in the next update. A first person view from the cockpit of the car! that would be so cool because then you can really feel the spins and flips and jumps. But i know the levels are first priority i was just throwing that out there
