You are right... We'll investigate this. It maybe to do with memory. We need to do some tests. If something can be done we'll try and fix this.
OK, when I'm online an when open OF I can see all achievements. Almost all are unlocked, 4 or 5 remaining. But when I'm offline (Wi-Fi turned off) and when open OF all achievements are locked, but not permanently, next time when I go online they are fine. So why applications shows that they're locked when I'm offline?
I've just tested this on my personal device, which I use to play the game, and everything is working as should. I'm offline and the achievements that I have unlocked show correctly. What version of the game are you running? Is your device Jailbroken? Does this happen to anyone else with the game?
I'm running the latest (1.3) version of the game. It had happened on previous version of game (and OF). I am JB'd. Any other OF enabled game shows achievements in offline mode. I use iPT 2G.
I was testing on a 3GS. I'll look into it tomorrow on the iPod 2nd gen un-jailbroken. Just to see what happens
Thanks for bringing this up. There were quite a few things we changed with the update: New version of Openfient Push Notifications for challenges Physics update Using more memory Probably all these things combined pushed it over the limits on the older hardware to make it less smooth. There's a few tricks I did on Space Tripper recently that sped some things up with OS background tasks. I transferred them over to Jet Car Stunts and things are running smoother again We need to test this on all the levels because the main game loop is now different from the old versions. A side effect of this is the accelerometer controls have got a bit more responsive which is not a bad thing. I think Luke has a visual bug with the ghost racing to sort out. And some other stuff. Once we get this tested, we will do a minor update with these fixes.
In the event that I'm able to do Impossible E cleanly, would it be possible to have my current leaderboard time removed in order to make way for a new replay with a longer duration? I've again gotten golds in all 5 Impossible tracks since the update, and so far 4 of them have uploaded replays. Once I get replays up for that and the Hard tracks, it will be possible to take a break from this game There are currently 10 zero retry replays of Impossible E clocking between 31 and 35 secs sitting in my local scores section, with the shortest one running less than a second longer than my posted time. That's so maddening! I did send out the challenges though, so at least Openfeint knows I'm using a non-jailbroken idevice without any USB controller, etc.
Yes it's possible to remove peoples scores from the leaderboards, just let us know and we will do it for you
Great. If you were to delete my ~31s time, would a replay from a run already done today replace it the next time I log in or check the leaderboard? If that would be the case, then please go ahead and remove mine, unless there would be a long delay (say over 24 hours) Going too long without a score on that list would be traumatic at this point. I'm teasing, I think edit: just to be clear, the run that would replace it would be within a second of the same time, but the run is not 100% clean (i.e. the wall is jumped).
