We can't say it will be feb for the DLC yet because we havn't even decided exactly how the DLC will work yet, thats just the earliest it could be, but we are working on plent of other things that could change the time line. We will anounce something when we have a better idea.
How about making a stunt map? It could include a lot a ramp and a whole bunch of things. I would even pay for it.
Hey can anyone catch me up to speed? I see that you guys MIGHT do DLC for february. Are you guys planing anything in the was of updates for the game?
We have started doing some work on new tracks for a DLC, although we have plenty of other things to do as well so are not too sure on the date yet. I posted some screen shots of work in progress on post 890
This looks great. One day will there be a possibility of releasing the level editor for sale and allowing people to download user made content via wifi? Obviously not in a way that would do you out of business... but the ability to make custom levels for this game... even if it wasn't on the iphone directly... would be amazing.
I often think about the possibility of an on device level editor, but I think we are selling the game too cheep to justify that. It might make sence for JCS2. Maybe an on device level editor could work if we use textures more similar to the screen shots from our inhouse level editor, rather then the nice radiosity lighting the game uses. I've got a few ideas about how to actually implement the UI for a level editor too. But, we are only thinking about stuff like that for JCS2 which is a long way off. First of we have other upgrades comming for JCS1.
mmmm, I wonder if this will be in JCS2 I've just uploaded the new version for Apple approval This version has: 1. A casual mode added for Platforming and Time Trial. 2. Changing camera views for the replays. 3. Music playback now runs as the game plays. 4. A Tutorial. This version is more about making the game casual friendly... plus a few nice extras.
1. sheer luck 2. make sure you don't press the break as the same time of the jet 3. for the last part on E stay in the center the moment you go out of the center line your pretty much skerwed and have to restart 4. on E if i remember correctly as soo as you hit that last platfrom not the circle thing hit the jump i will post the guide i wrote for the achievement group although zach seems to think i make it sound to easy 5. practice
oh a rare double post from me if someone hasn't posted between my writing of these two posts First my crowning achievement in achievement hunting http://twitpic.com/sb8zk and http://twitpic.com/sb8tv now my guide practice i guess... i figured out how to skip parts of the last level to decrease the risk of a retry then when you get to the last part (past the tiny whole which you should just jump over) back up till you almost fall of the edge make sure you are centered on the road then hit the gas not the jet fuel then when you hit the part where you go vertical that is when you hit the gas you need to hit it here because you don't stick to the path and will go past vertical, hold down the jet fuel button for a little while and then let go for a few miliseconds to keep the car centered in the tunnels until you run out of fuel hopefully you have enough upward momentum to clear the last tunnel and then fall down on to the last square hit the breaks to maintain control and orient your self to the last finish line. i was really luck on the play though that i hit the last tunnel with my tailfin and spun out of control i hit the breaks to regain control and got lucky that i was able to maintain control of the car until i finished hope this helps
