I nominated it for best racing. Real Racing is actually the best traditional racing game, but it's not nearly as much fun as this jet-propelled one, which is why I nominated JCS.
Any word on updates? Here's what 1.1 should include, should it get made. - More vehicles - More levels - Power-ups - Multiplayer (If you fall off, you don't go back to the beginning. You just get put back where you fell off, and your jet fuel is replenished to full power!) Anyone else have ideas?
The current version is 1.1 which just added a few bug fixes and tilt calibration. We are working on 1.2 which adds a tutorial, different hud styles and I am just looking to see if we can add a casual mode in a way that makes sense. After 1.2 is done, we think about what's next. We do want to do a level pack at some point.
Dlc level pack should be update 1.3. Ive practically exausted all the levels now, still great fun though. Have you decided how many levels, what difficulty and how much they will be? Thanks and congrats on making the best iphone game IMO
I have a request: An arena/free level. Just a level with a bunch of jumps that you can roam around in freely. Have ridiculous jumps, tunnels, pipes, tiny ramps... just an obstacle land, any Jet Car Stunts fan would be glad to roam around in
That would be great! I kinda thought that's what they were talking about when they were saying "casual mode". Being able to just drive around and get a feel for it. Free roam would be a nice addition. Maybe add something like that to a "lite" version so people can see just how AMAZING this game is! Keep the price where it is because it is an insane value, but who knows?...A one day holiday sale can't hurt, can it? BTW can't wait for the level packs...When?...When?
The free play arena sounds brilliant. Don't change the price though, because it's already much to cheap at the moment.
We've talked before about the possibility of adding a freestyle mode to the game with a different car with handling designed for tricks, and free style areanas, plus a trick scoring system. Its something that sounds a lot of fun to make. It is something would definatly want to add for a JCS2, and we are also considering it as DLC, but we would probably do a platforming level pack first.
