Hell yes! Another helpful addition would be a Practice Mode that lets you choose which checkpoint to start at so you can practice tricky areas over and over without needing to drive there first.
i like this idea a ton rather than replay in beginning of a level which is easy and or already mastered just to get to the hard end
Track editor would be great. Saved replays would be great. Fantastic Contraption had a great model for this. You could also view other people's replays to see how they did a certain puzzle. It would also be fun to have some other AI cars to race on some tracks... just because this is simply the only racing game i have ever played on the iphone that actually handles nicely. Or just put it all in Jet Car Stunts 2 because i would happily pay for it again.
They should expand their development house to become a Team Liverpool type of operation. and overwhelm the competition with a deluxe edition of JCS or sequel that just super-sizes JCS into a bloated, feature-rich version of what it already is That would cover the bases and qualify it as a killer app that sells idevices.
I have a much easier way of beating it; on the jump right after the first checkpoint, boost over the next area and over the wall. I don't know if this is a shortcut because I don't know which is faster, but it's definitely easier.
thank you very, very much bought your game and played it before suddenly noticing that i had to tilt left to go straight on my ipod touch 3g will be looking forward to an accelerometer callibration
This game is amazing! Awesome graphics (don't see how they could be improved), Really good framerate, perfect controls, well designed levels, great value for money, and really fun gameplay. 9/10 for me.
wow great game and definitely an excellent buy! however would be nice to have some maps which are more traditional, where u don't have to jump that much. Also would be nice to have time mode with challenge to beat best lap time.
i dont think he means perfectly flat, he means more levels that focus more on drifting and less watching the boost gauge. The time trials on this game represent that but i get bored of the same course 5 times over and over so i usually dont even finish the trials. man this game was going up so high on the app charts before all those sales happened and knocked it down it got up to #98 overall but then those sales just dropped it. but its back on an incline! source: http://topappcharts.com/337866370/app-details-jet-car-stunts.php
Is it just me or is the update keep coming back to be re-updated? I keep updating it, but it shows that there is still an update for it which is the same one.
I finally got a bronze (6 retries) in Impossible E, completing the game on some level. I'm not going to bother to try doing that level without jumping over the wall. This game is still eating a good chunk of my time, but have to say that it's possibly the most modern console-like experience I've had on an idevice yet; modern in the sense that it's actually delivering a consist 60 fps, and not trying to do too much at once visually, unlike the majority of higher priced app store games that deceive to some extent with their still shots while making distant promises of updates to remedy their poor controls. Overall JCS is still highly recommendable considering how rewarding it feels to complete many of the challenges, even with all the trial and error.
About updating, Same thing happened with Hook Champ for me... Updated and the icon is still there to update.
