Just been testing the new update today... All looks good and will submit on Monday... This is just an update to fix the iPhone 2G crash problem when no head phones are in and accelerometer calibration added to the menu system.
The way we want to do DLC is to give some out free as well as payment methods. I think this way will keep most people happy.
Most people are exceeding the best times Luke and I (which is True Axis) can do So it would be a pointless exercise to be beaten countless times
So far stuck on Platform: Impossible B,C,D,E and Hard E. Time Trails: Easy B,C Whatever you do, do not make the game easier in future updates.
Game should certainly be more easy to play in easy difficulty. That way everyone(even those who aren't that good) can get to enjoy this game.
Some like it hard, some like it easier. Well, if we add some DLC, I guess the easy tracks will be free, and the harder ones will have a price. So, I guess that will mean beginers will have more opportunity to improve on new free easy tracks.
You could add more easy levels and more hard levels. Then everyone is happy ! Edit: You posted the post above me when i was posting this.
What we want is to get more of the casual market to play the game as well. Just an idea which I have not talked to Luke about... Tell me what your views are Luke? The best way to make everyone happy is to release two level packs - one which caters for the hardcore game players and one for the casual game players (that is slightly toned down).
I think what I said before makes a lot of sence. The easy tracks of any new level packs will be free. That way, anybody just learning the game, and casual players will have heaps more easy tracks to play while they get used to the controls.
Yer that's what keeps me coming back for more, hard tracks. A free style track would keep the average player + me happy, also better cars.
Hahahaha..... i 've managed to pass the second part of IMPOSSIBLE E not ordinary way too As you can see braking lines come from the right and not from the center where the hole is too bad this wont help with the third part of track) Hm, one minute later i've found out that on second part of a track players dont have too go through this tiny hole. Actually its more easier to fly above the whole wall. To do that you must get nitro bonus from checkpoint. Then return to the start of the platform and right from the start use nitro and get speed .... You will have enough speed to fly over the wall. I think it is possible to pass this lvl without retrys. yeah its hard but possible.
I HAVE to find the shortcut on intermediate E!!! I'm ranked 3rd with 40 seconds (something around there) but the first two places are at 28 seconds! I just can't seem to find it....
I'm happy with this purchase. At 2 bucks, it's hard to complain about there being too few tracks within a given difficulty tier, but I wouldn't mind seeing a true beginner's track so that my gf can enjoy this game too, and so that I can pick this up and play it when the adrenaline is spent. Everyone should be able to share in the fun. lukeb
I'm liking the way people are finding exploits There's one on the first time trial level... Just after the first checkpoint when you start, just before you go under the roof blocks, you can jet the car off the left of the track, head towards the tunnel and squeeze through the gap where the tunnel is and the cubes floating and land near the second check point... Doing this you can cut a large chunk of the track out of the way. I havn't perfected it yet but this is a massive exploit to gain chunks of time There's a few other tracks that can be exploited but that's up to you lot to find them
