JCS is currently #43 top paid games in the german appstore, good sign! But we europeans are always more into racing games than the americans.
i would like a big fat gold/silver/bronze medal to show on the title screen when picking my track instead of text saying what medal ive won.
5* review from Nigel Wood @ TouchGen, link here. 1 request I have is to be able to choose the colour of the car.
I finally had time to play... This game is awesome, easily one of the best in my iPod (with Edge). But I frankly, totally, suck at it (in french, a 'biquette' ). I'm the type of guy who always cut on the grass, full throttle, in each racing game... but there's no grass here! By the way, for those who doesn't manage 360 Spin or Tumble: when you're lame, you doesn't have to try to do 360 Spin... it comes naturally =P
great racing game can add this to it be greatest game 1 save or post gameplay to youtube 2 track editor 3 online multiplayer like in trackmania
That seals the deal! Great review...The last line says it all & everyone here seems to like it. Downloading now!
Hey guys I found something in Bigalbie's review that threw me off: "There is a catch—each track has a limited number of retry opportunities, and using up those retries without reaching the finish line means no medal and no unlocking of the next track" Does this mean, If you meet the number of tries, you cant unlock the next track and are stuck at the current level for good?
No it does not... Every time you start a level you get 10 retrys. Also, because we were kind you only have to unlock 4 levels and not 5 to get to the next set of tracks - incase you get stuck on one.
You have to complete each level within 10 retries, otherwise you don't get a medal and can't move on. If you beat a level with 10 retries, you still get a bronze medal. Medal+ New Track Unlocked >(less than or equal to) 10 retries EDIT: Nevermind.. Nothing to see here people, TrueAxis stated it correctly.
so if you dont get it before or at 10 tries then you cant move on? you're just done? that would rly suck...
No, I made a mistake. You have to beat 4/5 tracks to unlock the next difficulty of tracks. All the tracks are automatically unlocked for that difficulty that you unlock.
The good thing is you know the layout your second play through. I took 12 tries to get through a level, and finished the second time around with 2.
Not really... There are 5 levels in each difficulty, and you can play any of the levels in that difficulty. You have to beat 4 of the levels to go to the next difficulty level. So if you get stuck on two levels, you might be sunk. But then if you can't beat all of the easier levels, you probably wouldn't be able to beat the later levels.
