first AWESOME update, looks amazing on ipad 3 retina.

why not just have a custom option where people can put the buttons where they want them like in Doom or Street fighter. it would be hard to fix his request since peoples hand size varies per person. It may work for him but others may not find it so comfortable, so custom would be a better option IMO.

    Awesomeness :)

But, is it just me, or is anyone else having problems restoring the level pack? I keep getting s "could not connect to itunes" error.

I second control change. Button placement is great for phones but not very good for a large heavy tablet.

On the topic of the button changes, also maybe change their size, and not have an invisible activation region. Right now, if you tap on the brakes at the top of the button, you will also turbo boost, which screwed me over a few times already :p

Awesome on my iPad 2, but add my voice to those requesting freely adjustable button positions. It's really about time this was seen as a necessity for iPad games rather than a feature.

OK, working now. For some reason, I couldn't connect to iTunes even through the app store. Had to log out then back in and it worked

Ikept hitting boost for brake too but I just assumed it was me... I never noticed doing that on the iPhone for some reason. With the current HUD layouts though my hands are not in a comfortable position so maybe it is just related to that for me.

After ~2 years JCS received an update, so it's now or never - guys, can you please add a feature that resets replay count to zero when you tap rewind button before you reach first checkpoint? Like in Bike Baron...

Also, tiny bug on i4, HUD Layout preview is squished vertically for some reason.

The reason for not changing that was that the tracks where designed around reset not being free on the first check point. JCS2 will be different.

Might consider what to do with these buttons being uncomfortable though. That is a good complaint I think. I'm not sure about doing a fully customizable layout at this point, but I might change one of the configurations to be more vertically centered.

I think his logic is that mostly everyone that cares about scores always go to the longer reset route every time they miss on the first checkpoint. I know I do.

I really don't care personally. I am used to going the longer reset route on the first checkpoint. Now that I am much better than I was before it is less of an anoyance because I fail on the first checkpoints less.

This would be great news to have at least one config near the center. My hands would thank you :).

This update brought new life into the game. I still enjoyed playing it on my iPhone before the update, but playing it on the iPad is just fantastic. Great update!

Hopefully this new excitement causes Luke to work harder on JCS2....and quicker :)

Great update. The game looks and plays fantastically on the Ipad2. I agree though that the controls on the Ipad need to be moved a bit. I think about two thirds of the way up the screen would be perfect...

Although I just have an iPhone 4 and won't see any of the update features, I just had to re-install and oh boy, this game is as brilliant as it was when released. Really hasn't aged at all. It is a masterpiece in mobile gaming, no, even in gaming in general. Truly one of the best iOS games ever released. True Axis can be damn proud of this thing. Presentation, controls, physics, track design... everything is perfect.

Yes you will :) There's high res fonts and hud in the iPhone4 build - no more blurry menus.

    Game save location using iExplorer

Can you reveal which files in the app package would need to be moved to transfer progress from an iPhone to an iPad? This should be a fairly easy process without jailbreaking, but I'm not sure which files to transfer. I'd rather not start completely from scratch on my iPad... ;)

All progress is stored in a file called stats.bin.
