Update is OUT!! The update is live and the game looks beautiful in-motion on my iPad! (at least the lite version does) However---I installed the lite iPad version then purchased the full game through the IAP and it then installed the separate iPhone version on my ipad which is still the old version that is not updated.... I'm confused...is it a bug?
Damn... I don't see it... =o/ But glad to know I should be able to get it soon! This is one update I've been seriously anticipating!
Ya, it's just the lite version that was updated. Oh well.....still confusing that the lite version has been updated but not the full version yet.
Yep, according to iTunes connect, Jet Car Stunts Lite is Live, but Jet Car Stunts, the full game, is still waiting for review. I did submit JCS Lite an hour before the full version or so, although, I am not sure if that makes any difference.
Oh..and THANK YOU to Luke from True Axis for updating this great game....been wanting this on my iPad for awhile now!

What's new in the update? Is it just to make it universal? Anything new besides that? Really wish this had Game Center support...
I'm working my self into the ground trying to get True Skate done now, but have been bogged down in server stuff. Still hope I can find away to get JCS2 out later this year. Starting to consider doing a staged release with not everything available in the first update. There is heaps of content. Yep, it now runs at 60fps on iPhone4s with screen AA on retina, and has new high res fonts and HUD for retina. No game center though, JCS has too many features for Game Center, so we decided it wasn't worth it.
Thanks for this. Love it. The graphics are awesome.... But... Can I please request an update to move the gas and break at about mid screen on the sides (one above the other). Same with air breaks, etc on the other side. The current HUD modes have the buttons too low to use comfortably for my hands. I have to hold the iPad barely at the bottom to hit the buttons which is very uncomfortable but doable but the iPad does not balance well with the config. My thumbs are about perfectly in the middle when holding the ipad comfortably. That would make it perfect for me.
That could make some kind of sense. To be honest, it wasn't thought about a lot. Will think about doing another update, but will wait for more feedback too.
