As an experiment for people that are really good at the game. I want you to go back and play the really easy levels. I bet once you go back and play them you will realize that they are incredibly easy to do now.

I know a lot of people think the game is tough but, for me, when I progressed though the game for the first time I found it tough as well, then when I got to the Hard levels and went back, I found that I could do things with the car that I thought was impossible when I first started playing.

This is the secret of getting the best times. Just scrape through the levels and learn how to control the car and get the best out of it. Then go back and clock up the best lap times.

I'm really curious about this :)

Absolutely. I had done this before you posted. I've finished all of the hard levels and impossible A. When I first went through the game, I had trouble with some of the Just Learning and Easy levels, and when I went back, I wondered how I ever failed them.

I am speechless. This is the best game I have played on the itouch by far. Adrenaline is still pumping no joke. Ive spent probably 200 plus dollars on apps now and this is the game I've been waiting for. Magnificent job.

It makes me wonder if the games playing public have been softened over the years ;) When I started playing games (I hate to admit 20 odd years ago) games were tough. The best ones had this way of working like Jet Car Stunts - people think things are tough to begin with. Put some time in and learn the game, then get the big payoffs by going back and replaying. It's a very addictive game design technique.

Jet Car Stunts has other design theory but this is the main one.

This really is a good game. It didn't take me long to see how polished it was, not to mention fun.

I'm really glad I got this game! I wasn't sure I would really like it, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. Gotta say far I'm loving this game! Definitely has that one more try feel to it. The screen shots really don't do the game justice. Controls are great. Awesome job to the developers! This game is worth so much more than $2! Definitely recommend this game! Leaving a review on iTunes (5/5 stars).

This game truly raises the quality of Iphone/Ipod touch games. Perfect controls, graphics, physics, fun, sound, different modes, all is perfect. I feel the 5 stars ratings I gave to other games now are wrong, this one really deserves 5 stars. I hope the sales are great but I am sure they will be.

would you consider having a night time in this game? there's already a bright sunny day one, and a scene where it looks like the sun is setting :)

Hey guys, great effin job.game is amazing. when going fast and approaching a turn is it necessary to hit brake to put the car into power slide. And how do I do barrel rolls and flips with the car?????

Glad to see a dev actually listen to the customers. Great job guys. I do the same with my business and it's really the best thing u can do to take your business to the next level.

learn to control the car better.. i am thinking.. drive very fast then launch on a ramp at an angle to hit a block and spin :D

i got the 1 barrel roll and 360 degree spin that way.. no idea about the other ones.. maybe a faster launch.. :D

or keep playing and eventually you will get everything

I'm surprised I have only good things to say about this one. I've only just started easy, but the first levels on their own were a lot of fun to unlock. It took me quite a while to get gold on all of them, challenging, but it was always fun. When I first saw the concept and pictures I wasn't too convinced, and even when I bought it last night I still thought i might regret it. Was I wrong.:)

The main reason why this game is SO good IMO is because it doesn't try to be or copy something else, the devs just took a whacky idea and focussed on full features, gameplay, and gameplay. The basics are good, and the levels just evolve and take you a bit further every time, each of them makes you feel you've done something different, achieved something new. The car and the track elements all look a bit primitive, but it works so well with the lush (yet simple) background. Another proof that the devs put their efforts there where it pays off. Some really great games have appeared recently (and some game changing updates), and I find myself looking at my ipod in a different way. I've got more respect for it, and I feel every penny I've put into the appstore has been an investment that has paid off.:)

    :)

Have thought about it, but not sure how well it might work. I guess there would need to be lights everywhere or something.

It would be cool if you could save a replay of the race (and maybe edit the replay like a video made with the camera).

What about after you beat a level on gold you unlock night for that level and if you do night with no retrys you get platinum for that level.

    I hope you'd hink about it :)

Yeah saving the replay will be awesome. But I like ghost data saving and sharing to be implemented.
