As you have gathered the game has gone on sale again Also to note is that the DLC has gone on sale as well... so for 1.98USD you can get all the added levels for less than the price of it's proper value. A bargain, really! The sale is from Friday to Friday - 1 week.
Things change After all the game is now a year old, plus the iTunes market has got more aggressive with sales, just to keep games in the top 200 game list. Anyway I hope you enjoy the game If you spend another 99c you can get the whole package (DLC) for 1.98USD and save 1c from the proper price and an even bigger saving if you include the proper price of the game, plus the DLC.
What's in the DLC pack? I found it: Added to the game are 26 platforming levels, all available through in-app purchase for $1.99.
You mean a cheap whiner The game held its price for an eternity in Appstore terms. You missed out this great game for almost a year all for a figging buck. I dont really see you as the winner but the loser instead Anyways, enjoy the game now. Better (extremely) late then never
So the current iPhone version will be receiving a free update as a universal app? If that's the case, I'll pick up the DLC. I just don't want to buy the DLC twice
I bought this game when it first came out, and there is no question it was worth one more dollar to be playing it for a year already. The regular price is already such a steal it's not even funny...
As long as you use the same iTunes account the DLC is transferable to all devices connected to that account. Inside the DLC menu is a Restore button, which will download the DLC onto any of those devices for free. You can actually repurchase on the download button but it will say you have already bought it and would you like to download for free. So what ever button you use to get the DLC on another device, you will not be charged twice... So if I was you I would get it now while the sale is on When we finally get around to getting the iPad version up and running it will be a free universal build. The only trouble is finding time, as we are in the final testing of the Windows Mobile 7 version - this version has caused all sorts of delays to other projects and such. Another reason is that we have been waiting for iOS 4.2 to come out for the iPad for getting the universal done.
You better make sure WM7 version doesnt have a single exclusive feature to it or else........... >.< iPad OS 4.2 went Gold Master yesterday. Now get on it already
No comment... I've got to transfer the iPad stuff from Space Tripper to Jet Car Stunts, then Luke has to do his bit. But before we can do that the Android version needs finalising (we outsourced this to another company - but we need to put some input in). As I said the Mobile 7 version has sucked a load of time away from all the other things we had planned. Hopefully by the end of the year we will have Space Tripper finished off, the Universal build of Jet Car Stunts, the Android version, and of course the Mobile 7 version. And then we can move onto new stuff like Jet Car Stunts2 and various other games we have planned. I think next year will be a big year for us - a good time to show off what we can do on these mobile platforms. I feel that we can be one of the top developers where other developers wonder how the hell we did that... Space Tripper will be a good indication of this - high framerate inside a 3D environment with a shit load of baddies and no slowdowns when massive explosions happen - and to boot putting most 2D games to shame
Thanks. My concern was that the universal app was going to be a separate purchase, which would mean the DLC wouldn't transfer over since it would have a separate app ID. DLC purchased Another vote for no exclusive features for the WM7 version
I'm having problems downloading the dlc, always gives me an error in the middle of the download... Strange ...
