We will probably do an update for the iPad when iOS 4.0 comes out for it... Then it will be time to move on and get JCS 2 up and running.
Hi I just lost all my progress and was wondering if the update will restore our scores from openfeint as it still has my high scores Many thanks Mtblegend
I don't think I'm going to touch JCS until the update is approved, it seems like a memory mine, patiently waiting for you to step on it, then BOOM! Progress deleted. Just a few more days I hope, then the DLC shall be mine!
One of the problems with the save was if you had the App multi-tasking, while updating the game, the App would close down for the update and corrupt the data. The best thing to do with the version on iTunes now, is to backup your iDevice before updates and stuff, so you can revert back. Also, when updating the new version that gets approved please backup or close down the App from the multi-task menu. This problem after the new update will be gone. All I can say is sorry this crept into the last version. Unfortunately we cannot restore the game from Openfeint, so sorry again for any frustrations that this problem has caused.
Wow Jet Car Stunts is coming to Windows 7 Phone this fall as a launch title: http://kotaku.com/5614467/assassins-creed-crackdown--castlevania-coming-to-xbox-live-on-mobile-phones I am sorta feel a little betrayed as a an apple user
Hi, That is great news, great developers are hard to find, just hope they continue to develop for the Idevices. Everyone has to make a living, best of luck on the new format. David
Those fools didn't make the title "Jet Car Stunts is coming to Windows Mobile 7!!! along with a few other games"
I'm back on touch arcade miss me? It's ok I know you don't ever remeber me Is the JCS for windows phone going to be the sequel? Or just a port from this one?
oh, i think I found a bug. i'm not sure. well when you start, if you tilt your idevice way down, and try to steer, it jumps from side to side.
That's because it's pretty much reading your device as upside down at a certain point. That's not a bug, just how the accelerometer works
We arn't talking to much about The Windows Phone 7 version just yet, but it isn't going to be the sequel. The iPhone is currently our primary target platform for the sequel. I think we are aware of this issue, and its something that is a little problematic to try fix with accelerometer controls. We easily can't tell the difference between somebody tilting the phone too far forward and somebody steering excessivly and turning the phone more then 90 degrees. Possible the gyro could be used to fix this, although, we have no plans yet for gyro suport on JCS. We are still waiting to get an iPhone4. We are wondering what the high res version looks like on device. Anoyingly, we can walk into the stores here in Australia and see iPhone4s on display with a demo version of Jet Car Stunts but it doesn't have the retina display update.
