No, I have a 2nd gen itouch and an ipad, but play JCS solely with the former. And yes, I will be first in line for JCS 2 if I'm still igaming next year.
There were some posts in this thread on how to get the DLC to work with jailbroken devices. It seems those posts have been removed. All I can say is google In App Purchase and jailbroken. There are a few what to does to get it working.
I really don't know what's keeping Apple from passing the new update with the Retina fix - it's been "in review" since last Tuesday. The game is now sitting at the highest position (US charts) it reached on launch 55/56 in the games section. And it seems it may get higher up the charts than before but let's see what happens.
Hi, I am confused by those who say they have trouble downloading the DLC while jailbroke. Been jailbroke here for almost a year and have downloaded a fair amount of DLC for various games and not once had an issue. David
That is because you have not downloaded a certain package that pirates use to sync their apps (I'm pretty sure that's why they run into that error)
Hi, That was my assumption too. I just get upset when users who do what you describe, get on here and make it sound like the developer is at fault. David
I will admit that I have said packages, but I bought this game legally and feel entitled to the dlc. I don't know why apple has to put restrictions like these on jailbroken devices.
It doesn't make it right. But, human nature is that humans will never admit fault unless forced. There are maybe a couple people in the world who have overcame this instinct.
Hi, It is not an issue of whether you bought this game, you likely have files on your device allowing you to use pirated apps, this is the most likely issue keeping you from getting the DLC. Keeping these files on your device will keep you from downloading any DLC, whether you bought the game or not. Not really anything to do with Apple. David
both shortcuts at the end and begin of Impossible A were very clear, but excellent find of the middle shortcut, whoever it was!
It totally amazes me how people find these shortcuts - no matter how well a level is constructed to stop it, because of the open nature of the levels, an extremely good physics engine and control, people will find them. It's almost like one of the fun elements of the playability of the game is to try and find them - accidental gameplay elements certainly add to the play experience. Doing a replay and ghosting the car just to copy these shortcuts, I shake my head on how people can pull them off - my skills at the game are ok but to do some of these shortcuts I feel not good enough
If it's true that you intended to stop it, then perhaps you and Luke weren't good enough to test the levels enough to accomplish that goal, which could have been achieved by a AAA company with an actual QA department. There are dozens of spots where both obvious and not so obvious shortcuts could have been blocked with added geometry. What amazes me is your amazement.
Why does this post read so offensively and mean-spirited? Maybe it's unintended, but... Anywho, implying these guys aren't competent in testing their own product is overly presumptuous. Hell, I've read where big name, so-called "AAA" companies have been amazed by people finding different ways to mess with physics and finding shortcuts through maps that were unintentional, etc.
Dude, Get over yourself. I don't even know you and you are already the most annoying person I ever met. Let me guess, your about 14-16 yrs old. And if your anything above that age then I really feel bad for you because you are so immature....SMFH... Keep up the great work true axis. This guy sucks
