The Lite version is now in review... I've been up for two days now - I could've done without the Retina problems today but at least we acted quickly and got the fix in. Now I'm going to chill out for awhile!
I'll give a small hint. I found it by trial and error and it took some time to figure out exactly what I did but now I know. I will give two small hints... It involves more than one tap and "x". Good luck!
Loving the new DLC so far guys, just gave the first level a go and hopefully it'll only get better. So far it seems well worth the $. Any plans for future DLC?
We'll probably do one more update and it may involve the iPad... But Jet Car Stunts 2 needs to get off the starting block But let's see how this DLC goes and you never know
Cant wait to try it with the AA. I can barely see the edges on the Retina display without it so with it will make it look perfect. Are there any plans on adding the Gyroscope to the controls? I know with Real Racing when they added that it made driving much easier for me so I can see the samething happening with Jet Car.
We need to get our hands on one... They come out here in about 3 weeks so we may add gyro-scope controls but it may be unfair to the accelerometer users... But I would say that we have a very good accelerometer system in place, probably the best - because if we didn't the levels would be unplayable. I've been told by the tester who did the AA testing that the game looks fantastic with no edges on the Retina display. I feel disappointed that this failed to work for the update but this is what happens when you use the emulator for testing. We did think we covered this by getting it tested but there must of been crossed wires on what the game was suppose to look like. Anyway, the new update is waiting for approval now.
Love the new update For really one major reason : The lite version levels are here! Since I bought it (A few months back) I've played the lite version more then the full verison because I love the 5 levels. But that could be because I couldn't get the full verison for a week so I spent hours on it till I got it... Idk why, I just feel like the other levels were just "made" and arn't as enjoyable for me.. Anyways.. off to buy the DLC
Reminds me of over 10 years back, playing the origonal Quake demo levels again and again before eventually getting the full version. I had a similar kind of feeling. I've since noticed that actually sometimes it can be more fun to play the same thing over and over untill you are really good, rather then playing something new where you don't know what you are doing. I guess if you can make a game that gives people something new, while making them feel really good at it, at the same time as making them feel really challenged, with out making them ever get stuck, then you must have an awesome game.
Whooo! Just took 1st on Intermediate C with a time of 1.20.91! Btw this time the impossible levels truly are impossible, I've spent almost 1 hour on Impossible A and still haven't beaten it EDIT: Damn like 10 minutes after I posted this mtblegend beat me by .70 of a second
bought the DLC of course! what i dislike about old and new levels in general - shadows are too distracting. and no possibility to turn them off! i know that with high brightness they are ok, but high brightness eats accu much more faster. also would be good if level restarted after crash or fly off the road, if it was still before first checkpoint. because most player will restart level anyway. I think it was already suggested... should be very easy to implement.
Can someone please pm me the cheat code taps?!?!? Please!!!! I spent forever now trying to find them.
I've been trying for four hours. I have done everything I could think of. I know it has to do something with the control scheme screen, seeing that it has 5 layouts to choose from and tap, but I don't know what order to tap them in... Oh, and Luke, are you planning to add a free roam stunt area in a new update? it would help get those crazy 1080 spin and triple barrel roll and flip achievements you can only get by luck.
First on Impossible F, no shortcuts of which I'm aware (haven't looked for any yet). It was a 5 retry silver (2'00") that beat LukeTrueaxis' time by 20s. My previous failed completion was over 150 retries and ~25 minutes. I must have gotten lucky to reduce the retries so soon. Although F is grueling, it actually feels less cheap than Impossible E since none of the wall apertures require that your car go sideways.
