Iphone4 same old res I bought this game today almost exclusively for retina res graphics. Something is wrong everything from the splashscreen to the gameplay is the older res still and no AA. Any ideas?
Oh, my bad. The graphics look pretty great to me! Although on the main screen when it's circling around the logo the edges don't seem very smooth. In game, I can't say. I was focusing too much and wasn't looking at the edges. Ha.
The iPhone 4 has retina display. The iPod 3rd and iPhone 3gs have anti-aliasing. The older devices will look like the old version.
What do you mean the iPhone 4 has retina display? Am I missing something here? I mean, I have the iPhone 4, so I know about the higher res display, but I don't get what you mean. I mean, I do, but I don't. I mean, do you mean that since the iPhone 4 has the retina display you did not implement the anti aliasing, because perhaps you thought the phone would smooth out the edges automatically? Apple did say that all the apps would upscale.
Just recently got this game and love it, but I too updated it today and the resolution looks the same. No AA noticeable and pixels are easily seen. Was the new resolution the full iPhone 4 res?
Just finishing downloading all DLC. Glad I could further support TrueAxis for making Jet Car Stunts even more awesome!
We need to get our hands on one... To have a larger screen and anti-aliasing on may effect the render fillrate/ or it maybe fine Until we get the device, it was less risky doing it this way. But we will be updating soon with Openfeint 2.5, so if the device can handle it we will turn on anti-aliasing on for the iPhone 4
I hope this is not the case, we were assured by the Openfeint people, who tested this, that it was working... If it's not then it will be in the next update, that I promise you and apologise for the messup.

Its also odd as the screenshots are clearly a higher res than I think a 3GS with AA could even produce - some had it working a higher res somewhere is seems
Ok, it seems the higher rez has failed to happen - we were relying on this to be tested for us and took their word that it was fine. Looks like we will be getting an iPhone 4 pretty sharpish now to rectify this and will be updating as soon as possible. All I can say is enjoy the DLC and wait for the update for the higher rez.
It was wi-fi. It said purchasing or something like that for about 10 seconds and then gave an error and didn't get to the dialog box to confirm the purchase. The third time worked perfectly and downloaded the pack in under 10 seconds it seemed. No worries.
Yeah the higher Rez is deff not there. Looks the same. GODDAM OPENFEINT ASSHOLES. WI guess we just have to wait AGAIN. Anyway thanx for the update.
