A ray of hope. Lite version just got updated No sign of full version yet though. Should be coming soon. Very very soon Jet Car Stunts Lite ^^^^ This is lite. Not the full version. Reminding just in case you get too excited
Nope. Cant be possible. Last update date for full version was on march 28. We didnt even know about the retina display back in march http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jet-car-stunts/id337866370?mt=8
As you may know the Lite version is now out with all the iOS 4 enhancements. I received an email about half an hour ago saying the paid version has passed the review - so it should be up sometime today. Finally it will be out in the next few hours or sooner - who knows
Downloading the full version update as I type this message!! Looking forward to seeing the enhanced graphics and planning on buying the DLC very soon.
I've just downloaded it from the Australian App Store, downloaded the new levels and the free levels So I guess people will be playing soon...
Jet Car Stunts full downloaded( not lite version). Launched the game and I just get purchase failed try again later when clicking on new levels and then the 1.99 level pack. The lite pack downloaded. Never mind. 3rd try worked.
Are you going through a phone carrier or wi-fi? If you are going through the phone carrier beware of signal dropout - there's a lot of MB data to download... Usually with the testing I did going through a the phone carrier, you may have to go through the process of buying 3 or 4 times with a bad signal. The wi-fi works first time and I recommend using wi-fi - it will cost you less and you will not get dropouts.
Question: Does the update take any advantage of the gyroscope in the iPhone 4? Doesn't really matter but I was just wondering.
Not at the moment... We need an actual device to do that - the iPhone 4 is not released here yet. But the kind people at Openfeint tested the new screen size for us. I'm curious to see this myself, so anyone that has one of these devices tell me what you think of the game at a higher rez. We are using Openfeint X for the DLC if anyone is curious. We beta tested the DLC stuff for them.
I just downloaded the light and I don't really notice any difference in the clarity on my i4. Does the light implement the AA. ALSO IS IT RETINA ready or do I need yo download the full???
Perhaps this one looked good enough already? I'm not seeing any huge difference. Things may look a bit sharper, but that's all I see. Then again, I am quite the old man.
