is not available in the Canadian Store
Anyone? I can hear crickets. Is it not available anywhere?
It's out in the US.
It will probably be in Canada a lot sooner than you think. Just wait a bit, and don't double post.
Does the game look good?
I'll keep my eye on the Canadian store tonight, star.
It looks dated actually, but it could be fun. It's currently $4.99. If the gameplay is in the pudding, I would pay $4.99 but that might be a tad steep for some.
It does look pretty good. Good graphics and landscape mode.
I suck at these types of games except trivia
Anyone want to TOFTT?
I hope you get to write your name in the blue square nameplate. I've always wanted to be able to do that in real life. I don't even want to be on the show....
Just played a quick game.. overall seems to be a pretty servicable Jeopardy game.
You can customize an avatar (hair/clothes/skin color/gender/etc.) as well as sign your own signature.
Presentation is very nice, it looks pretty polished, you can see a tiny version of your signature on the podium.
When you a question is asked, you get first shot at answering it before all the other contestants (a little strange.. so you don't have to beat someone to the buzzer, they always pose it to you first.) Also, the answers (questions/whatever ) are all multiple choice. So theoretically you could always respond to the question and take your best shot at the multiple choice.
They have the classic Jeopardy music when you start and the classic Final Jeopardy song. There is a really annoying clap sound that plays after ever question, so if you're cranking through the questions, you hear the clap over and over. It's the same sound effect so it gets a little grating.
You can turn off the sounds completely, but then you lose out on the Jeopardy theme song.
All in all, pretty good Jeopardy clone, no online support (just local career stats) and given that it's just the basic game, $4.99 could be a little steep compared to what else is out there on the App Store. But if you're a big fan of Jeopardy, it's not bad.
Thank you lithiastudios. Nice overview.
Yes thank you for the review... sounds like a pretty good game. But 4.99 does seem a little too steep for me. I might put it on the snipe list for now
Yeah, I'd say snipe it at a lower price unless you're a big fan of Jeopardy. If I wasn't a big fan of Jeopardy, for the money, I'd probably go for a different trivia game. Even as a fan of Jeopardy, I'm not sure that it would hold my interest super long term. It would be nice if they had achievements or something along those lines. But overall they did a pretty good job with it, I thought the graphics were nice.

Am I missing any? Please do tell.
TV Show King?
EDIT: P. S. Still no Jeopardy in the Canadian store.
1 vs 100 was the other one I was missing. Ok think that list is complete AFAITTIK.
So I see there are Jeopardy banners all over TA today, but it is still not available in the Canadian App Store. What are they doing? What would Alex Trebek have to say if he knew about this?
