Hi all! Jellyquest is an arcade-y game where you dodge small rocks, angry pufferfish, and other obstacles to find exotic ingredients. In the meta game, you turn those ingredients into drinks and sell them! The game is being made in Unity3d. I'm currently working alone, in my spare time. I just added area selection! In the gif you can see how the level UI slides in when you select a locked area. I also included a view of the editor to show off how the areas are recycled and recreated when off-screen
Update #2 - Polish Pass Since my last update, I've been working on polishing up the Production Area! I added some mountains in the background, which really helped the scene's production value. Just don't ask me why there are snowy mountains underwater. I also re-did the art and UI for the drink machines, adding a springy visualization for how each drink is being produced. There are also a lot subtle improvements to the look and feel, like the coin images pulsing when the amount changes, etc.
