    Hi all,

In celebration of the first day of our most awesome release of Jamzu yet, I'd like to give away 11 promo codes to the great folks here on TouchArcade!

Please post here or PM me if you'd like a code! :)

Jamzu 1.40 has Leaderboards and Achievements on both Game Center and OpenFeint. Also includes the new Jamzu DieDeck game mode. With DieDeck, each player's rolls are selected randomly from a deck of 1-6, creating perfect balance in rolls for both players.

    Cheers,
    ~Doug

One code left to give away!! :)

Warning: There is a small but critical bug that will prevent Jamzu 1.40 from starting on devices using earlier than iOS 4.1. It has already been fixed and tested, and I am submitting the fix to Apple tonight. My apologies, and thank you for your patience!

Thank you so much for the code!

Happy to report that I experienced no crash problems here. :)

I've only played it for a very short time, but I have a small suggestion. The single player defaults to expert mode. I didn't realize this until I was part way through the first game. Maybe it would be better to have it default to an easier mode?

You're very welcome, and thanks for reporting no crash! :) Unfortunately, this is one of those "mixed up" OS/device issues. I just got a report of a crash on a different device. Any more reports definitely help pin this down.

Your suggestion about the level choice is very well taken. Thank you! We've debated this a lot here, and I think it's going to start off at an easier level (Medium) next update. You tipped the scales in the debate once and for all. :)

Jamzu 1.41 has been submitted to the AppStore to fix the crashing issue.

Users running the latest iOS 4.1 update shouldn't have any problems with Jamzu 1.40.

@Scrooge: I took the opportunity in Jamzu 1.41 to change the default starting level for Single Player to Medium. :) Thanks again.

    ~Doug
