It's past time. I need it, since I never played the second one. Kotor, Kotor, Kotor. Edit: I have it on Mac, but I'd rather play before sleeping, on my bad.
I'm so happy this finally got released. I remember being so jealous when this originally was announced as an Xbox exclusive, and I've always wanted to try it out. Now I can, so thank you aspyr, for being so awesome and continually bringing these classics to mac/iOS. I've played for 2 hours now, and the game is as good as I'd hoped for, done in the classic bioware way, fun combat, customization, and an immersive world that rewards exploration. I've been playing with an MFi controller, so it feels just perfect. Had to clear a lot of space, it looks like my 16gb mini 2 is really starting to show it's limits. I'd like to replace it, but that is hard to accomplish since I keep on buying all these games, haha, it's been quite an year for us mobile gaming lovers
How do you know they're not already working on it? After all, a Complete Edition for KotOR 2 would take a lot of time to make. I've got my suspicions that the recent lack of activity from Avellone is a signal that he's been working with Bio/Aspyr (more likely) for exactly that. Tinfoil hats on, everyone!
We have to keep in mind that they asked some time ago if people had interest on kotor 2 on mobile. I confirmed my interest. Hope many more did the same and that they feel it would work.
Which character should I start with? I have never played this game until now I did mess with it a min this morning but had to quit in middle of opening battle so starting at front again and figured I would ask this important question first Personally I'm wanting to play as the monk but just curious as to suggestions
I did too!! Immediately Hopefully enough of us did and they are working on it I would love to play part II again Warriv I think you're right and personally I think this is the best year of mobile gaming yet
Im still downloading here but since its a port there should be a difficulty slider in the options. Oh my god this game takes me back to teenagehood big time, used to spend weekends with my friend sharing our controllers and try to unlock all the scenes together ! This game is a lot of fun, very unique setting that isnt used often, story gets a bit cheesy at times but thats actually part of the charm for me hahaha. Every time the story would get weird events me and my friend would yell "okay this just went Kung Pow" Memories.... my weekend is booked, its between me, my iPhone, my mfi controller and my apple tv !
I would absolutely love it to happen, and it looks like Aspyr's work with the mod team to make it available in Steam Workshop is a good sign it's possible. http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/249536/How_a_ragtag_band_of_modders_restored_Star_Wars_KOTOR_II.php
Skimmed through the thread. Is this an online MmO or a single player game? Does it play like O&C by chance? Thanks
It's a single player Action RPG. Have you played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on iOS? Imagine that, get rid of the turn based combat, replace it with real time combat in an Asian setting and you've got Jade Empire.
Are you guys having trouble with expert controls? I can't make healing work for the life of me. Not once the swipe registered. edit: iPhone 6
