Across the various websites where you've made this complaint, I've finally understood what you meant by bluetooth play. Unfortunately the game has sold very poorly, so it's not very likely I'll be able to get support from the engine developers to find out how to resolve this. I'll be writing a post mortem for this soon. I hope those of you that did buy the game enjoyed your experience
For those that are interested, I'm porting the game to PC and Mac (maybe I'll get back some of the cost that way)? You can help out by voting on Steam Greenlight here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=877705287 Again, thanks for the support everyone. This community has stuck by the game right from the start - I only hope I can satisfy with my next game.
Thanks for those of you that voted! Jack B. Nimble has been greenlit: http://noonan.design/devlogs/jack-b-nimble-has-been-greenlit/
It's hard to believe, but Jack B. Nimble has been on the AppStore for 3 years! To celebrate, Jack B. Nimble will be half price for the next couple of days - enjoy! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jack-b-nimble/id918891211?mt=8 For those interested, I'm still hard at work on the Steam version. I should have something to show this weekend
This game is great, I've been enjoying it a lot and climbing on those leaderboards. I was wondering how to get the last characters, I've tried everything...
The two secret characters are very secret. I'll give a clue for each. 1. He doesn't live on Earth. So you'll find him elsewhere. 2. What number am I thinking of? Whip that many candles in a single run! Other than that, I have to thank TA for any promotion that Jack B. Nimble has received so far. I developed the game on a zero dollar budget marketing budget and went with the premium pricing model. Probably not so good for sales, but the app makes just enough to keep it live on the App Store. I'm hoping the upcoming Steam version will help boost things a little too. Thanks again!
Thanks for those of you that took part in the holiday sale. It was nice to get some sales during December as it's usually my worst time for sales. So Cocoon.io make the middleware engine I use to port Jack B. Nimble to iOS, and they've just announced a number of fixes in the build. I'm just wondering if anyone would be interested in me updating the game to fix these issues as well as potentially adding more content? Is there a desire for this? Let me know - you can read more about the potential fixes here: https://blog.cocoon.io/cocoon-2-2-0-v8-update-is-here/
Here's a little updated on what's been going on with the game - with multiple TouchArcade mentions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01D2hMrcJ1U
In regards to additional content or a "campaign", I feel like that's basically sequel territory. And based on sales, a sequel is pretty unlikely. We'll see how the game sells on Steam. I was working on a platformer spin off. Here's a little of the prototype... ...obviously that would need on screen controls, which I'm not super comfortable with. But who knows. Just thought I'd share that
To celebrate the AppStore's 10th birthday, Jack B. Nimble will be half price for the rest of the week https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jack-b-nimble/id918891211?ls=1&mt=8 Enjoy!
...and because I am feeling generous, here are some free codes - get 'em while they're hot! ATYEY7K7P3N4 LWPTWFPPL9R7 LPK3XLNP96WM WLNM4WW7MEK3 9WEMTF4KALPA
Just so you all know, the game is coming to Steam next week! https://store.steampowered.com/app/718120/Jack_B_Nimble/
For the first time Jack B. Nimble will be available for free! No catch, but grab it now, as it will return to full price in the new year! https://twitter.com/JackBNimbleGame/status/1079454700481773569
