That doesnt look much like a "frantic 2D scrolling racer" and honestly itdidnt seem anything interesting to me. Probably nice for an indie dev but we expect a bit better from IUGO. Hopefully Cliffed is not anything like Plummet or atleast has a lot more to it in comparison.
what the f&*k happened to revolt!!! I heard bout revolt last october and still nothing. It looked like a great fps. Honestly iugo what the hell is wrong with you guys. When you talked about a.d.d i asked bout revolt and someone said "really soon" that was months ago. This is total bullspit. Arrrggggghhhhhh
at least 5 I know of...unless iugo does something creative to it, it doesn't seem much (multiplayer doesnt mean much to me btw)
I think IUGO stripped the ReVolt project, but don't quote me on that one. Anyway, this looks great. My hopes are high for online multiplayer after what they did with Star Hogs =]
There have been tons of Re-Volt threads you can search for such as: This one And this one We have been honest about the sheer magnitude and risk a project like this is for a small dev such as IUGO. I will never say never for Re-Volt but for now the project is on hold.
i have to say that i love the fact that you guys read the posts (even if mine was disrespectful and i apologize btw) i cant wait for this game.... way to go IUGO one of my favorite Devs!!
No sweat and thank you for saying that. It's always hard to push back/cancel projects as it crushes our team too. But, we have to constantly evaluate what's going on on the App Store and make good business decisions about the kinds of games that will and will not do well in our estimate. Unlike a company like EA or Gameloft, if we pour months and months of development into one game and see it tank it could very well be the demise of IUGO at this point. The App Store is really challenging and small to midsized guys like us are fighting hard to survive.
Well, we'll be demoing both games at the Tokyo Game Show next week so hopefully they'll be submitted soon for review! ("soon" meaning next couple of weeks )
To add, the graphics are still being improved and will look even more polished than these once we're done with 'em!
