Hey guys. I've had this annoying problem recently - whenever I try to sync my iPhone with iTunes I usually get a couple of apps automatically installing. In the past these have been apps downloaded on my iPhone and then deleted as well as apps downloaded through iTunes that were installed and later deleted. It's been bothering me for ages and Google was useless. Just now, I deleted about 6 apps from my iPhone and when I synced it a minute later, one of them came back - but not the other 4-5. One is fine, but it becomes a problem when I don't sync for a while. I once had 9 (!) apps automatically start simultaneous syncing, slowing my phone down to unusable. Is there any reason why it would be doing this? (For the record, I have "Sync New Apps" turned off)
Whoever moved this thread - thanks. But if mine was moved, then this one needs to be too: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=124307 It's the only reason I posted there.
I get this every so often. Usually the best way around it is one of these: 1) Remove the app while your device is plugged in to your PC (and iTunes is loaded) 2) Remove the app from your device via the Applications tab in iTunes & apply changes 3) Delete the app from your library and sync - then choose not to copy apps when iTunes asks if you'd like to copy additional apps (beware, this will remove all apps on your device that aren't in your library.)
