      restart your itunes. happens to me too once in a while but for all icons.

      Same here...my icon loads like that - it loads properly while viewing the app.

      Anyone elses iTunes have weird font and broken paperclips where all the pictures should be??

      I've gotten this before. Sometimes when you've had it open for a while, and you're jumping between music and the store etc these start to appear, or at least they did for me. I was reorganising a ton of music, and trying to match the titles of my songs to the iTunes store so I could get the album artwork, and then after a bunch of switching back and forth all the pictures would start to disappear as you describe. A simple restart of iTunes fixed it for me, and I haven't seen it since their last update (although I also haven't done the same kind of switching back and forth).
