Hey, I'm sure this question has been asked before, but it's hard to search for. I just an iTunes gift card for my iPod Touch. I currently use a credit card to dl all my apps. The question I have is once I redeem my points, can I make app purchases both on the desktop and through the iPod and have it deduct from my gift card amount? Or just from the desktop?
The app and the new balance won't show up until you sync your device it will transfer the app onto the computer. Your balance will not be refreshed until the next time you download an app or an update on the computer. But either way they both come from the same place.
you can do it on both. if you want to buy an app on your phone. go to itunes on ur phone put in the gift card and then go to app store to download games. this also works for promo codes of games.
