How do you change your review name? If you change the billing address name, does it change the review name? But if i change my billing name to a username, will the credit card company call because it is an unauthorized person?
Your billing name must match the name as shown on your credit card or it will deny any charges. Your credit card company will not call you, you just cannot buy anything further off the Apple store as the charge will not go through. There is a separate username from your billing name though, because my review name is Jongjungbu, which is not my real name. Sorry, I forget how I did that...
Yeah my review name is MidianGTX, not sure how I did it. Interesting point though: I can enter my billing name either with my full name or just the initials and it still works, so it doesn't have to be exactly right. Probably depends on your bank/card company etc. Edit: Oh, it's right there. iTunes on PC/Mac, go to Account and the first page has a 'Nickname' text field.
OK: To clarify, You MUST have ping off to have a nickname. I had ping on, but i turned it off (Because it sucks) and now I can have a nickname.
Ah, that makes sense. I declined Ping straight away because... it sounds awful. I'm signed up to too many communities already.
