iTunes 10 is now available. Although for some odd reason I couldn't update my version so I downloaded via the website.

Go check it out. Ping is pretty interesting.

    downloading and installing...

    >download itunes
    >run installer....takes forever at "computing free space" (it's under 100mb, WHY EVEN HAVE THIS)
    >run itunes 10
    >itunes is slightly...whiter than before. hurts my eyes. interface is slightly tweaked and smoother, but only in tiny ways
    >wait 5 minutes for "updating library"
    >finally works

Music section now forces you to have albums on the far-left column. You cannot change it. stupid move.

edit: oh. the default view with albums on the left is a NEW option. you can switch back to the old style.

This new style is also available for when you view apps...which seems completely silly to me.

If I download the 64-bit version of iTunes 10 and install it, will that delete any of my data from 32-bit iTunes 9.2? I just want to make sure, before I update.

um can we edit the ID3 tags of apps yet?

cause when i create folders i want certain apps in entertainment rather than news, or utilities ya know.

Yeah, i think it's even worse because they lightened it. It sticks out more like a bright lightbulb. I WANT ITUNES THEMES :(

Well, not gonna be using the one thing I cared about in the update then. :/ Who thought that was a good idea anyway?

I second themes or really any kind of customization for that matter. At the same time, I'm not expecting it.

i am so mad. someone had the bright idea to remove the search function when you are syncing apps to your device. It makes me so mad when software developers do this-- it's like they don't even ask their target consumer/audience what would be useful or what they want.

START TESTING YOUR SHIT, APPLE :\
