    Yeah that's what I said... Make that 25 hours and it's still not done. Almost, but barely.

    Super Quick Hook already saves your progress automatically (including where you are in the middle of the level) when you exit. Not all apps do though...I think they have to have specific updates to do so?

    Holy ****. I started three hours ago, and the backup progress bar is like a millimeter thick. This is complete bullshit.

    Looks like you'll be in for the same thing I had to deal with :(

    Fantastic stuff. Really glad it all worked out in the end. I hope you weren't sat at your computer for 28 hours watching it. >.>

    P.S - Your name rocks!

    So I just want to clearly understand how this upgrade works. So once you upgrade, it wipes everything off your ipod, installs the new ios4, then uses your latest backup to restore your data?

    I think that is exactly it mate. Sync your pod with iTunes. And when it finishes, download and install the new upgrade. It'll force your pod to shutdown and then install the upgrade... Then restart it back up for you with the upgrade functioning. You won't lose any game progress or playlists etc.

    I wish there was an easier, faster, and cleaner way to do OS upgrades. Oh well. Good thing iTunes automates the whole process (backup, OS install, and restore from backup). I'm waiting for it to restore from backup now. I hope iOS 4 is as pretty as it looks in the screenshots. :)

    Yay! The upgrade went flawlessly!

    The first feature I tried were the folders. Very intuitive and simple. And I love the new dock. :) No complaints so far. It looks pretty straight forward.

    I have a question about updating from iOS4 ---> iOS4.1

    I am on an iPod Touch 3G currently on iOS4. I want to upgrade to iOS4.1. Whenever I upgrade my OS, I tend to have to do a long tedious restore being that I have not synced my iPod to my computer in over 5 months (and got hundreds more games on it since then). Should I update my iTunes to the latest version before I update my OS? And should I sync first before I update my OS? And do you need a certain amount of GB left to update to iOS4.1? I only have less that 1 GB left. I really do not want to have to do a full restore but have a feeling I will have to. If anyone knows the best way to avoid this happening, please tell me

    Thanks for the help!
