    downloading it right now. it's 315 megs.

    Also, iTunes says it will backup your data before installing, so you don't need to.

    For starters I had to "Restore" in order to get this version. iTunes is stupid enough NOT to recognize the fact I'm running GM.

    Seems like the iOS4 Jailbreak is already out, not much now with jailbreaking but you can unlock the home screen background if you jailbreak.

    EDIT: Actually, I'm Jailbroken right now but I'd like to remove it from now on. Should I just do a restore that will wipe everything then update? This will cause me to lose my save data right?

    he's probably talking about how 2nd gen iPod Touch owners don't get the custom backgrounds on their home screen.
