This game looked like something that could be really epic. And that was a year ago, since they are picking it up hopefully it is an MMO and has a massive world. Who knows, but this could be the biggest game ever
please read ;D Well I forgot about this game for a long time (dont blame me no updates ) But then when i was playing WoW today i thought... There has to be a game like that on the ipod right now. And then a faint memory came to me... I googled and looked until i re-foudn this and when i found out its back from the dead something hit me. Think about it this does look great. But now think about it more... Isnt it amazing? Look at the graphics, at the pictures, weapons, video, textures... Dont you just get this OHMYGODITSWORLDOFWARCRAFTFORIPHONE feeling? I sure do. This looks like it could be the best game coming out since iphone's launch. Dont get me wrong Aralon is great.... But its not just WoW. And i dont know why every mmo i played got boring right off, but WoW it just stays... and i come back to it. Please QuantumSquid for the sake of 15million people who play WoW (around not sure ) now think of how many people would play this game ON AN IPHONE. And thinking about that go to your office and make the single most amazing game that ever came out... for the iphone! Dont rush, just dont forget to update a bit by bit cos people will forget I would wait a long time for this, what about you> (directed at the reader of my reply )
Well, after aralons release they better make something good maybe its just taking a while cause they are revamping the graphics or something. Maybe the got inspired from aralon to make an even greater game
Sadly I think Quantum Squid took too long with this one, now games like Aralon make this one seem not as great as when it was originally announced. If this was released months ago I might have got it, but not anymore.
basically, this game was being created when the unity shambles were going on with apple, and so it was put on hold because it would not have been able to be released. please imagine that these guys need to have the resources (money and time) to create this game bearing in mind the fact that much time has passed since it's announcement. please, put yourself in the shoes of an indi dev team, and remember that their responsibility is to produce games at their own standard and pace, and not to come on to yet another game forum to defend themselves from people who won't read all that's been written. don't get me wrong, i would love this game to come out and be awesome, just please stop saying dumb stuff like "aralon killed this" or "it's vaporware" when you know nothing about it.
I don't think this can be compared to Aralon. Yes, they are both RPGs but the animations make them look totally different. This one has more of a cartoony feel to it.
Not to mention that to say "Aralon killed this" is to completely misunderstand how the gaming economy works. The main reason many of us have been cheering for Aralon is not because we think it the end-all-be-all of western RPGs in the platform (it isn't) or that we want Josh, Russ, and Jason to get rich (though they're nice and all), but because we want to see more ambitious RPGs come to the platform. Successful products have a way of multiplying (prime example: the iPhone). Stylistically this looks much closer to WoW (i.e. more cartoony) than Aralon ever did, which I can appreciate. I really hope that Quantum Squid pulls this off, if only so that I can run around in my underware killing mofo crabs .
wow looks awesome lets hope that it will run well on ipod 2g the graphics looks too good to be played on ipod 2g ...
i would love to have at least one post from the creators telling us that they are at least working on it rather than just saying some latin term that may just mean that they have resumed making their other games not this one.
Just bumped into this I hope there is more info... My project is ambitious enough.. this puppy is really ambitious...rooting this one on!!... Get er done... would love to see more!
