Why so sad? It's nice that someone actually wants to do something that's not typical. I look forward to seeing how they are going to break the mold!
I am already excited. And I will buy this one even if it will cost 12 Euro or more! Such advanced RPG is worth it money, just like Ravensword and Dungeon Hunter were... Please, keep informing us lively, QuantumSquid.
Sure, if it's made like the Final Fantasy series then I'm not worrying. But a fantasy world like Flyff would be awesome too.
Why do you have a high-poly zbrush render for a iPhone game that can handle like 600 polys a character max lol? The game looks very impressive . Congrats!
hwy do any of you guys know of any other mmo's on the itouch because I just realized that I only know of one and Im not talking about games like dinosmash or imech but like graalonline
ya i got seven sword too forgot about that one. I realy am suprised though at small amount of these kinds of games on the appstore as I believe that a well developed version will do very well, like this one will I have no doubt
Getting about time to put up a couple more sneaky peeks, don't ya think Quantum Squid?? Hmmmm....? I know, I know... a project like this takes time. It's just hard to be patient, when it looks so cool. Any more news? In particular, I am very curious about 2 things: - How are you planning on doing the single player / multi-player element? As, it's been said in past posts that the game will have both "dedicated" types. - Clearly it has a great look and has the "feel" of WoW, but what are the details on "NOT your typical fantasy world"? I am very intrigued by this. I am really excited about the prospect of something other than the so overdone hard-lined dwarfs, dragons, and daggers. Looking forward to hearing more. I know you guys are pretty active on the forums.. must be playing coy on this for some reason... I hope its just because you are looking for the right time to spill the details.
I am guessing that they just use zbrush or mudbox, etc. for conceptualizing. It does say "high poly concept" in the corner of that one slug creature....
Actually, borrowing so much references to an existing game (and claiming it is widely inspired from) will lead to such "this XY feature is not like WoW, I want it to be like WoW" complaints from a vast amount of people. Historically, you can't surf on a franchise without being stuck to it in some way. Very, very nice textures, though
