I know it's in beta.. But what genius decided that since display lock was available as a software option, they should re- designate the switch for mute? The volume switch is right there and it takes milliseconds to turn sound off and on using volume control. But now, in order to lock the display orientation, instead of flipping the switch, you have to get into the multitask and scroll to the left, then turn it on or off using the software switch. This is really a pain when plaing a game, surfing the web, etc. I really hope people are noticing, and complaining to Apple to either make the switch software assignable, or keep it as the display lock. This was a huge feature for me..
Ya, they should have atleast added an option in the settings to change it back to orientation lock if someone wanted.
As a iPhone owner from first gen to fourth I only have this advice regarding Apple devices & software/hardware changes... Get use to it.
